I was slumped on one side of the gym after my workout when I heard my phone ring. 

I saw Thirdy's name and I wondered what he needed. He has been away for weeks.

"Thirds!"

"What's up, Bei-by?" I heard him say with so much energy. 

I had to check if it was really Thirdy on the other line.

"Lols, why are you calling? Just finished working out. What have you been up to?"

"Wala nga eh, was just listening to Spotify medyo napansin kita sa Friend Activity eh. Okay ka lang ba?"

I smirked.

"Oo naman, why did you ask?"

"You have been playing this song, on repeat, naiisip mo ba ako?"

Uh-oh I didn't even know he is following me on Spotify.

"Oy Thirdy, I'm sorry to burst your bubble but I'm working out."

"You could be but you have to admit it once and for all, Bei." He sounded frustrated.

"Admit what? That I miss you?"

"Maybe more."

She was smiling.

After the push and pull, "Thirds?"

"Hmmm?"

"If I go to Japan, do you think you can adopt me while I'm there?"

I looked at my ticket.

"You can stay with me for as long as you want."
