Chapter 7

"Are you enjoying the party?" Apollo asked

Nagsimula na ang party ni Felix, may iilan na ring bisita ang nandito. Karamihan sa kanila ay mga bata. May iilang bisita ang naka-kilala sa akin, pero pinahintulutan sila ng pamilya ni Apollo na humingi ng litrato sa akin, para na raw hindi ako pagkaguluhan. Sumama na rin sa party ang lola ni Apollo, pero nanonood lang ito dahil masama ang kaniyang pakiramdam

"Oo naman."

Nasa labas kami ng kanilang bahay, nag-arkila sila ng videoke at ang iilang kaibigan nina Apollo ay kumakanta na at umiinom. "Did you like the food?"

Tumango ako, halos lahat ng pagkain ay si Apollo ang nagluto. Hindi maipagkaka-ila na masarap nga siya mag-luto. "The visitors said na masarap ang sinigang."

I laughed, "Magaling ako sa kusina eh."

"Apollo, ikaw na tumagay." Sabin i Jericho

Apollo looked at me, as if asking for my permission. I nod my head, signaling him to drink with his friends. I checked my phone, puno ito ng messages ng aking mga kaibigan. Hindi ako nakapag-reply sa kanila nitong mga nakaraang araw kaya siguro tinambak nila ako ng texts

Azalea V: @SeleneF buhay ka pa ba o kinain ka na ng dagat dyan sa Mindoro

AsikiaF: Baka may boylet?

MaeveM: Need mob a ng back-up?

Me: I'm fine guys, naging busy lang. I was exploring the island

MaeveM: How was it? Can you send us some pics? Kasama mo si Kelly?

Well I have plenty of pictures from our trip. Some are solo some are just the view and some are me and Apollo. Napagdesisyunan kong i-send ang dalawang picture ko at ang picture ng dagat. They don't need to know about Apollo, right?

AsikiaF: Wait, you're alone?!

AzaleaV: HOYY may pogi! Dun sa third pic. Were you with him?!

Nanlaki ang mata ko, nasama pala si Apollo sa isang picture, his side profile was shown. Naka-tingin siya sa dagat habang inaayos ang buhok niya. I looked at Apollo and he's happily talking to his friends.

Me: Yeah, I was with him. He's Apollo, a local here

AzaleaV: A local!?

MaeveM: Ang gwapo naman nya, pwedeng model

AsikiaF: He looks familiar

Me: Apollo?

AsikiaF: Yeah, idk kung sino kamukha niya or if nakita ko na sya

My brows furrowed, as much as I know Apollo never visited Manila. Me and my friends continued chatting until I felt a hand on my legs. I turned my head to Apollo. "Maga-ala sais nan g gabi. Ihahatid na kita." Sabi niya

I looked at the sky at padilim na nga. "S-sige."

Pumunta kami sa loob ng bahay at nagpaalam sa pamilya niya. Nag-volunteer naman ang Tito ni Apollo na ihatid kami dahil dala ng kumpare nito ang truck niya. Nakakahiya man pero pumayag na ako, delikado na sa daan at baka kung ano pa mangyari kay Apollo pa-uwi. "Did you have fun?"

"Yes. thank you for inviting me."

"Bye ate Selene." I heard Felix, he's pouting

Lumuhod ako para mag-lebel kami. "Babalik ako okay." I said and pinched his cheeks

Nagmdali na kaming umalis dahil dumidilim na ang ulap. "Medyo mahaba pa ang byahe." Imporma ni Tito

"Sino kausap mo kanina?" Apollo whispered

"My friends, nag-update lang ako."

The road was dark, the only lights available are the one from the truck and some streetlights. We were quiet the whole ride, may pagkakataon na nag-uusap sina Apollo tungkol sa trabaho o kaya sa pag-aaral ni Felix. Mabilis rin kaming naka-rating sa White Beach. Apollo insisted on walking me home, pumayag naman ako dahil gabi na

"See you tomorrow." He said

I smiled, "Thank you ulit, dami ko na utang sayo."

He smiled, I stilled. He looks so handsome and charming. "This will do." He said, his palm gently cupped my face before leaning in for a kiss on my cheek

Nanlaki ang mata ko, I looked at him. "Bayad ka na." Ani niya at kinindatan ako

"I-ingat ka sa daan." Sabi ko sa mahinang boses

He chuckled, "I will, pasok na."

I nod, he watched we go inside before leaving. What the hell just happened!? I went upstairs quickly, I noticed the polaroid on my bed. I looked at it, we both looked good. My face heated when I remembered the kiss. Damn it Selene, it's not your first time getting kissed on your cheek.

I sigh, I went to the bathroom and bathe myself. I played a relaxing music before indulging myself with the water. I stayed there for half an hour before doing my skincare routine. I brushed my teeth and changed into my silk nightgown

I saw a text from Apollo, I grabbed my phone and opened it.

Apollo: I'm home

Me: Enjoy the rest of the night, I'll sleep early

Apollo: Goodnight Selene

Ang bilis naman nito mag-reply

Me: Goodnighttt

I replied, pinatay ko ang phone ko. I didn't bother eating dinner, masyado akong nabusog sa pagkain kanina. I decided on watching some K-Drama to help me fall asleep. I ended up watching till 1am. Nang antukin ako ay pinikit ko na nag mata ko, slowly I fell asleep

"To the right Selene." The director shouted

I showed my side profile and gently closed my eyes. "Very good!"

I changed to a new pose, I rested my face and directly looked at the camera, I slight opened my mouth before ruffling my hair. This is our phase 3 for the campaign, after phase 6 doon ko pa lang gagawin ang video commercial. The raw photos was submitted to me yesterday and so far they looked good.

The photoshoot ended early. "Bukas ay 4pm ang schedule, isasakto para sa sunset. The horse thingy?" Kelly said

Tumango ako, we will shoot by the beach, I will wear a bikini while riding a horse. "San ka kakain?"

"Sa room ko na lang." I said

I'm famished, wala pa akong kain. I wore my robe to cover my revealing outfit and went to my room. I removed my make-up while looking at the mirror. Mas nagmumuka akong maputi kapag walang make-up, my eyes are well carved into almond shape. My cheekbones are high like my mom's, my lips are naturally plump and pinkish. I heard a knock on my door, must be Kelly

I opened the door, instead of Kelly I saw Apollo. "Here's your food."

Kumunot ang noo ko. Pumasok lang siya sa kwarto ko at nilapag ito sa table. "Your room is nice." He commented

"Y-yeah."

"Tapos na shoot mo?" He asked

Tumikhim ako, bakit ba kasi hindi ako nagpalit ng damit. "Yes, magpapahinga na lang ako mamaya."

"That's good. Can I visit?"

Nanlaki ang mata ko. His face fell with my reaction. "It's okay if ayaw mo." He said

"N-no okay lang, later 4pm."

He smirked, he grabbed the tray and held the door knob. "Later then, enjoy your food." Sabi niya at umalis

What the hell ano ba nangyayari sayo Selene
