 ~ He’s Got 27 Tattoos ~

Today, was the day we were going Nana’s house for the annual family reunion we had every 5 years. And sadly, this one another one. The person I want to see the least is Harry, he is a jerk. The last time we saw eachother was 8 years ago, when we were both 8 years old, he pulled pranks on me all week; he threw in the pool in an attempt to wake me up, he drew on my face in the morning. Harry knew and did every prank in the book to me.

Except for the most humiliating prank I did to him; I pulled his pants down in front of the whole family, showing his puny little crayon of a dick. Of course I got grounded for a month and Harry got nothing for every prank he did to me. The usual.

I was looking forward to seeing Gemma and Anne. I miss them a lot. So the visit is bitter sweet. Harry, being the bitter part of course.

Oh, yeah did I mention that Harry is in the world’s biggest boy band, One Direction. I them all - except Zayn, I have a soft spot for him - and their stupid music. They all auditioned for The X Facto separately but they got put into a group and here they are two years later, the biggest boy-band known in history. Even bigger than The Beatles. Who would have thought that my failure of a cousin could get famous.

“Katherine, get down here! We are leaving now.” I groaned as dragged my suitcase down the stairs.

“Not even a good morning…” I muttered before picking up an apple from the kitchen.

My grandma lived in West Yorkshire, in a town called Bradford.

I put my suitcase in the boot before sitting in the passenger seat. I stuffed my headphones in my ears and blasted Taylor Swift’s new album, “Red”. I absolutely love it! I hummed along to “22”, my favourite song on it.

I must have dozed off, because before I knew it, my mum was shaking my shoulders and telling me, “We’re here!” I smiled genuinely for the first time today.

My family was so big, it looked like a Carnival or something. Barbecue tables and chairs scattered around, children laughing and running around.

Someone basically pounced on me, tackling me to the ground. “Katherine!” I got a glimpse of Gemma smiling down at me. “Hey Gems!” I squealed as we got up and hugged. She had cut her hair so it was just below her chin. “You look lovely!” We both uttered at the same time. We giggled.

“Don’t I get a hug too?’ I turned around and saw Anne. Wow. “Hi Auntie Anne!” I greeted her as she pulled me into one of her famous warm embraces.

“Who’s that?” I giggled staring at a cute boy with curly locks and adorable dimples, talking with my mum. “Oh, that’s Harry.” Anne stated.

My jaw dropped as I gaped at him not believing that was my vicious cousin, Harry. “W-what?” I stammered.

“He’s changed a lot, eh?” Gemma nudged me in the ribs. I nodded stiffly. Harry walked up to us. His eyes widened as he looked at me from head to toe. My blood boiled as I turned on my heel and stomped into my Nana’s house.

“Hello Katherine. You look beautiful  darling.” I blushed slightly as I hugged my Nana. “Thank you nan, as do you.” I curtsied. That was a little something me and my Nana always greeted each other by. She walked outside to greet some more family members.

“How come I didn’t get a hello?” Harry whined as he punched my arm playfully. I was not in a playful mood. I scoffed. “First of all; don’t touch me! Second of all; don’t you ever look at me like that again. I am your cousin, and you,” I poked his chest. “are a pig.” I huffed and walked upstairs, dragging my suitcase behind me.
