Chapter - 1 Family and fun

Shazil P.O.V

I was in my room doing my office work when I heard the knock on my rooms door .

"Come in", I  said without seeing who was there  on  the door side busy with my work .

"Beta (son) you're still awake ? its already 11:45pm ",dadi said entering the room

"Yeah dadi I was about to go to bed,why you are still awake you usually sleep before 10pm", I said keeping the files in the bag

"Yes.I want to discuss to you about the proposal saima send for saira for his son Azhar ",dadi said .

"Oh ! Thatswhy she came to our home last week," I said.

"Yes,she is coming tomorrow with her family to see saira and want to fix the date for engagement ,"dadi said .
"It's nice proposal dadi ,Azhar is a nice person,he is well settled ,I met him few times ," I said while yawning.

"Yes,so come home soon tomorrow", Dadi said to me

"Ok I'll come soon tomorrow," I said.

"Okay you sleep it's already 12:03am we will discuss later about this matter," dadi said caressing my head.
"Good night dadi ",I said .

"Good night beta ,"dadi said going out of my room .

Next day:
(Morning)

"Assalamualaikum (Hi)everyone ",I said entering the dining room.

Oh wow everybody is present on the dining table today I thought in my mind.

Ammi :Waalaikumassalam .Shazil Tum kahi ja rahe ho Kya?
(are you going somewhere?)

Shazil:Ammi ha wo ..Faiz cutted me off
(Yes ,I'm ..)

"Ammi what you are asking him? ;he is going to meet his girlfriend ;right bhai(bro) ",Faiz said smiling.

"Really Shazil !Oh wow who is that lucky girl who has stolen my dear son's  heart ",ammi said me teasing.

Everybody on the dining table looks at  me with curiosity .

"Faiz don't you know  how to  talk to your elder brother? what rubbish you're speaking ?"I said in a strict  tone.

All my siblings are very close to me,but Faiz I love him more than anything in this world because he is so naughty and full of life.

"Hey dare you scold my faiz ,you are the one who should be scolded for hiding all this matter from us", Ammi said me giving high five to faiz .

Shazil : Ammi there is nothing like that.

Faiz : So where are you going all ready in this dress on Sunday .

"Faiz it's enough of your blabbering" Dadi semi yelled .
"All of you silently have your breakfast and about Shazil he is going to pick up  Arif's family from their home ."

"Yey! Shaista appi is coming; faiz,faraz ",shouted on listening Dadi's word ..

Yes shaista is their favorite cousin because she always play with them,bring so many gifts for them  and etc etc.

Dadi : You urchins ! first have your breakfast otherwise I won't call her here .

Listening Dadi'S everybody started laughing and they trio make the cute innocent face.

After having the breakfast I went towards the parking area of my home ,started  my car and went towards Arif uncle's house.

At Arif's place :

After driving for about 20 minute's I reached his house.uncle is out of city for some business work so I came to pick up them.
I get off the car ;went towards the door of his house and ring the doorbell.
After ringing for 2 time aunty opened the door and greeted me

"Assalamualaikum Shazil,"come inside.

Shazil : Waalaikumassalam aunty ,please you all  come fast ,I'm waiting outside in the car .

"Dear in what hurry you are always ,are you going to meet someone, "she said to me smiling .

Shazil : No I'm not going to meet someone,but  Dadi told me to pick up you Asap and the guy's family is coming in the evening so there are alot of work at home .

"Assalamualaikum bhai", my cousin's greeted me .

Shazil : Waalaikumassalam, so ready ?

"Yep !we're ; let's go bhai", twins said.

I opened the door of car's driving seat and get inside the car .aunty and Shaista sat at the back seat where as both the twins were fighting over the passenger seat.

Imran : I will sit  at front seat .

Irfan : No I'll sit at front seat

Imran: I'll

Irfan : no I ll.
.
.
.
.
"Both of you shut up, I'll sit at front  and both of you go and sit at back one with mama ",Shaista said .

Listening Shaista's word both make a sad face and grumpily sat at back seat with  aunty and Shaista sit on front seat.

"Bhai drive kare (Brother please drive the car)",Shaista said me smiling .

"Yes,"smiling back at her I said and start the car .

Further the drive went so fun.
