The Lost Souls

Preface

The seven and Nico sit around a table.

"How are we going to defeat Kronos?" Annabeth asks. "Last time we had many more people and barely beat him."

"Last time we weren't immortals," Nico comments.

Festus roars.

"Intruders!" Leo yells.

Everyone runs out of the room and spot six people. Each one is in a different color. The black is called Shadow. The yellow is Thief. The blue is Lightning. The purple is Seer. The green is Beauty. The red is Flame. Flame lines themself against Leo. Lightning with Jason. Beauty with Piper. Seer with Percy and Frank. Thief with Annabeth. Finally Shadow with Nico and Hazel. The fight started out even until they realized they were slowly being beaten.

"Jason!" Piper shouts.

Piper jumped off of the ship Jason following.

Percy whistled and he and Annabeth got onto Blackjack.

Frank shape shifted into an eagle and grabbed Leo as Nico shadow traveled Hazel and himself to the ground.

The six people jumped down from the ship. Hazel spotted this and got onto Arion.

"We can't beat them," Hazel informs. "I'll go to Olympus for backup."

Hazel and Arion disappear from view in seconds.

"We just have to keep fighting until backup arrives," Percy states.

The six land.

"Drop your weapons and surrender," Piper charmspeaks.

Five of them looked like they were about to do it.

"Don't listen to her," Beauty charmspeaks.

"There hasn't been a charmspeaker born since Drew, Silena and I," Piper exclaims. "Jason try lightning."

Jason attempts lightning and Lightning catches it in their hand and throws it back at him, lightly knocking him back.

"Nico, summon the dead!" Percy suggests.

Nico raises his arms and the dead begin to rise.

Shadow throws an arm out and the dead collapse and gold rises up around Nico.

"Fire time!" Leo exclaims.

Leo throws fire at them and Flame catches it and extinguished the fire.

"I thought you and Beckendorf were the only ones who could do that!" Piper exclaims.

"I think we're all going to have a long talk with our parents," Leo yells back.

Shadow waves her hand and Piper collapses.

"Stay where you are and don't move," Beauty orders.

Shadow waves toward a shadow and a portal appears. Flame and Lightning carrying Piper walk through.

The twelve Olympians and Hazel appeared.

Seer and Thief pause, but they walk through the portal and it closed.

"Surrender!" Zeus exclaims.

"Now!" Hades adds.

Nico is freed from his gold prison.

Shadow and Beauty were taken to the ground by Percy and Annabeth.

The two have their masks removed.

Bianca and Silena with their faces scarred are kneeling there.

"Hello, Nico, Hazel, Hades," Bianca greets.

"Aphrodite," Silena smirks.

"Bianca?" Nico asks, sadly.

"Silena?!" Percy exclaims.

"We haven't gone by those names in three thousand years," Bianca laughs.

"Who are you and where did your friends take Piper?" Jason asks.

"They took Piper?" Aphrodite asks.

"It was going to be the McLean sisters together again," Silena smiles.

"Who did this to you?" Hephaestus asks. "You would never leave Charles."

"Who said she did?" Bianca asks.

"We were just six of the souls Hades lost," Silena laughs. "No one too important."

"Which other souls did you lose?" Zeus asks Hades.

"Is Zeusy finally worried about Thalia?" Bianca mocks.

"I'm not sure," Hades ignores Bianca's comment. "Many souls go to rebirth."

"Shall we clue them in?" Silena asks Bianca.

"Let's start with Seer," Bianca smirks.

"She died in the second giant war with Thalia," Silena hints.

"The last daughter of Phoebe and descendant of Apollo," Bianca adds.

"Rachel Elizabeth Dare," Apollo states.

"Correct," Silena confirms. "Now, he died because of me."

"Half brother to Leo," Bianca adds.

"Created Festus," Silena finishes.

"Charles," Hephaestus says. "Charles Beckendorf."

"Good," Bianca praises. "She was a hunter of Artemis."

"A daughter of Zeus," Silena says.

"Thalia Grace," Zeus answers.

"Seduced Silena into being a spy," Bianca says.

"The reason you went into the desert," Silena smiles.

"Luke," Percy says and everyone looks at him. "He helped Kronos capture Artemis, if he hadn't we wouldn't have gone on the quest and Silena mentioned how Luke had made her spy or he would tell the camp."

"Good job, Percy," Bianca smirks. "Now if you can answer this I'll tell you who we work for. What item did I try to take from Hephestus' Junkyard?"

"The only mythomagic figure that Nico didn't have," Percy states. "The Hades figurine."

"The one who sent us is an old friend of all of yours," Bianca says. "Kronos."

"He was destroyed to the point he couldn't have a conscious," Hades exclaims.

"He was sent back to Tartarus," Silena says. "He ripped Bianca, Luke, Charles and I from Elysium. One or two years later for the surface Rachel and Thalia joined us."

"What is your mission?" Athena asks.

"To get the most powerful of the heroes of Olympus," Silena says. "Except Percy Jackson. One at a time. He would turn them against what they stand for. Against the gods."

"Piper McLean," Bianca lists. "Jason Grace. Hazel Levesque. Frank Zhang. Annabeth Chase. Leo Valdez. Nico Di'Angelo."

A bright flash occurs and suddenly a woman with dark hair and purple eyes appeared.

She snapped and Piper was then in Jason's arms.

Thalia, Luke, Rachel and Beckendorf stood beside Bianca and Silena.

Thalia and Beckendorf helped Silena and Bianca to their feet.

"This was not meant to be your fate demigods," she informs. "I am Chaos. I wish to send you back to save yourselves from this horrid fate. Fourteen of you will have your memories. The others will not. The fourteen will be Bianca Di'Angelo, Charles Beckendorf, Silena McLean, Luke Castellan, Thalia Grace, Rachel Dare, Percy Jackson, Annabeth Chase, Jason Grace, Piper McLean, Hazel Levesque, Frank Zhang, Leo Valdez and Nico Di'Angelo.
