This is Scout West, he lives with his two moms, Jess and Linda Webb in Toronto, Canada. He moved from Jackson, Mississippi in the US. Jackson is a small town where everyone knew each other. It wasn't very diverse so when Scout came to Toronto he was amazed by all the different cultures. Today is his first day at school in Canada at Trudeau Public School.
His Mom, Jess woke him up at 6 in the morning and told him to get ready for school. Scout is so excited to start at his new school. He got up and went to his closet to get his clothes. He decided to wear his favorite outfit, blue jeans, and a plain white t-shirt.
After he put on his clothes he went to go brush his teeth and wash his hands. He sang happy birthday twice as he was washing his hands as his moms told him, " If you wash your hands and sing happy birthday then all the germs will go away."
He believed them and has done it every day since.
