Chuck Series Rewrite - Season 1

Pilot Part 5

You and Chuck made it to Sarah's apartment, looking around trying to find which apartment was hers.

"Oh! Here it is!" You said.

You went over and knocked on her door. When Sarah opened it she was busy talking on the phone. She waved at you both and gestured that she would just be a minute and invited you both in.

Once everything was settled and Sarah was ready to go you all headed out to Chuck's car and went down to a Mexican restaurant. You and Chuck were sitting beside eachother, stealing food off of each other's plates while Sarah was sitting on the other side, watching you two and laughing. Sarah was then asking about your life story.

"So, yeah, I live with my sister and her boyfriend, captain awesome."

"No!"

" It's true, though." you pointed.

" So, so, wait. You call him "captain awesome"? "

"Yeah, wait till you meet him. Everything he does is awesome: Climbing mountains, jumping out of planes, flossing."

"Yeah he's something" you said laughing.

"That's funny"

"I'm... I'm a funny guy."

" Clearly. Which is good cause I am not funny. "

"Is that your big secret, by the way? 'Cause I've been sitting here trying to figure out what's wrong with you." You said.

" Oh, plenty, believe me."

" And I was thinking either she's a cannibal or she's really not that funny, and I was pulling for cannibal 'cause I never met one before." Chuck added.

" Uh, not a cannibal but I did just come out of a long relationship."

"Oh I'm sorry Sarah." you said sincerely.

"Uh, so the guy, the ex, the guy, the ex is the reason you moved here from..." Chuck started.

" Uh, D. C. Right. Yeah, after I realized that all of my friends were his friends and that everything about Washington reminded me of... Bruce, I needed a change, a big one."

"Oh wow... Bruce.... Yeah I can see why that did not last." You said and Chuck looked over at you laughing.

Sarah smiled looking at you both.

"So, so what about you Y/N? What skeletons do you have in your closet? Any secrets?" She asked.

"Me? Ummm no. No not really? I've had a pretty normal life. Had a couple boyfriends. Dumped them. Oh! Had some not very supportive parents. Then went to UCLA. Graduated and now I'm working at Weinerlicious. So yeah...Not that much of an exciting life."

You then paused for a moment.

"I think the only thing that's been really good about my life was having Chuck and his family be apart of it. I don't know where I would be without them." You looked over at him and saw him smiling at you. He then pulled you into a side hug.

"That's so sweet!" Sarah said.

After you were all done, you all started walking outside along the bridge, figuring out what your next destination will be.

"So, where are we going?" Sarah asked.

" Well, do you like music? " You asked.

"I guess."

"You guess? What's your favorite band? " Chuck asked. When Sarah didn't answer you and Chuck looked at each other with your jaws dropping. "Oh, my Gosh! Oh, my Gosh! " Chuck said.
