Where to start... Well, let's just say that my mind is a strange place. When I listen to these songs, I can envision an entire movie (that I made up) in my head.

So what happens when I listen to this song? Well, it begins with a bunch of friends. A bunch of friends who can consider themselves a family. Everything they go through, they go through together. They all live together in an apartment. So they're basically a family. Going through everything together. Every break up, every failure, every party, everything. A group of unusual people who you'd consider rude, weird, or misfits. It's a bond between a group of people who you couldn't go a day without. Yeah, they have fights, they have they're differences, but at the end of the day, it all of them as one.

It starts with them coming home. From where, I don't know. But they're coming home from a tough day, and they're exhausted. They're emotionally drained it's been a rough week for all of them. They all sit down on the multiple chairs in their loft, and sigh with exhaustion. Some laugh, some just stare at one another. And they've all fallen silent. Leaving nothing but their thoughts throughout the room. Suddenly, they hear music coming from outside. They look out the window, and it's the most beautiful night sky they've ever seen. Filled with stars, and lit up buildings to light up the sky. One of them decides to go up to the roof. The rest follow. When they head up the stairs, the music get louder and the lights get brighter, they reach the rooftop and it beautiful. There were lawn chairs, lights all around, and a fire pit in the middle. They all gather together around the fire pit, and bring chairs closer to sit in. One of the friends decides to start a fire in the pit, and it lights up beautifully. One of the friends smiled and ran back downstairs for a minute to grab a few beers. They then hand them out the each of the friends around. They sit their talking about the coolest and funniest things that have happened over the years they've been friends. They all start to quiet down, and then fall silent again.

"You know, this may be because I'm a bit buzzed right now-" the friends laugh. "-But I really do love you guys. I mean really, if it weren't for you all, I'd probably be some homeless crackhead by now." The friends laugh again, but then fall quiet, "it's been 10 years that we've been here. All of us. I mean god, we've been through everything together, haven't we?" Another friend speaks up. "Yeah, we have. Remember when you got so drunk that you went up to a random old person and told them not to go into the light?" The other friend spoke up. "Yeah, but we don't need to to talk about that right now. Not one of my proudest moments.. hey, remember when YOU got so high, that you thought a woman wearing a fur coat was cubacca?" They all laughed and smiled.  After another moment of silence, another friend spoke again. "But, really, I mean.. you guys are more of a family to me than my actual family!" Everyone agreed, and began talking again. Then finally after what felt like a few hours, one of the friends looked up and saw a shooting star over the horizon.
"Hey guys, look! A shooting star!" The rest of the friends stood up and walked to the ledge of the rooftop. They were all standing together gazing at the stars, while leaning on the ledge of the rooftop. They were all silent. It was the most beautiful they've ever experienced before. Everything felt right, in the world.
