Avengers, Everything I need

Ch. 1 "Bella"

                                                           Bella POV 

I laid in the back of the kennel, with my eyes closed, I have a piercing pain in my ear and sides, my sides are wrapped up due to what happened, 

You see I am a military dog, but a few weeks ago there was treachery, My handler Luke was killed, 

                                                     Memory, 

We were under fire, I was with Luke, hiding behind a large rock, Luke kept firing until the gun fire stopped, 

"Bella, you know what to do," He said making sure my vest was strapped securely to my body, 

I started to slowly walk out from behind the rock, 

My job was to insure that the area was clear, I walked over various dead bodies, I sniffed the air, as I slowly walked over the hill, 

All the potential threats were dealt with, 

I barked twice, 

"Good job Bella," Luke said petting my head, 

Then a scream rang through my ears seeing Luke fall to the ground, 

I looked down at him whimpering, I see the target, Luke's friend Sam,

I bare my teeth, as I charged at him I felt something hot hit right through the tip of my ear but I ignored, it, 

I latched onto his leg, causing him to kick me in the sides, but my grip just got tighter, 

"Sam! how could you!" One of the men yelled as I was still latching onto him, 

"Because he was no leader, get her off!" Sam yelled, 

"Bella heel," A man said 

But I didn't I was too mad, I growled with his leg in my mouth as someone tried to take me off of him, 

Then I felt a pinch in my neck causing me to fall unconscious 

                                         End Memory 

Now I lay in a kennel, I don't let anyone approach my den, I don't bother moving, because I lost the one thing that mattered to me, 

I am no longer a Military dog, I'm just a prisoner, 

"Hello there girl," A man with a metal arm said 

I just groan, causing him to chuckle, 

"Wow she's beautiful," A man with short blonde hair and blue eyes said 

I sense these men are good, 

I slowly get up making my way to the door, 

"Wow, that's the most she's moved since she's arrived," The kennel lady said 

"Really?" The man with blue eyes said 

The woman nodded, 

"She's an ex, Military, but after her handler was killed by a trader they declared her unfit," The woman said 

"She even almost took off the guys hand who feeds her," The woman said 

"She doesn't look so bad," The man with the metal arm said 

"Trust me her bite is way worse then her bark," The woman said 

"Can we pet her," Blue eyes said 

"I wouldn't suggest it, but if you want just approach her slowly," The woman said 

The man with the metal arm nodded 

He opened the door, closing it behind him keeling far enough away that it doesn't appear threatening to me, 

"What's her name?" The blue eyes said 

"Bella," The woman said 

"Come here, Bella," The metal arm man said 

I slowly walked towards him, my ears were back because I wasn't sure about this, 

"It's alright.." He said 

"What happened to her ear and side?" Blue eyes said 

"She got that defending her handler," The woman said 

I was now right in front of the metal armed man, I sniffed his hand, he smelled like pine, and some kind of spice, 

He started petting my head, 

"Wow, your so soft," He said 

I slowly licked his face, 

"I've never seen her act like this before," The woman said 

"What Breed is she?" The metal armed man asked 

"She's a full bread German Shepard," The woman said 

"I think I found our dog Steve," The metal armed man said petting my  soft fur, 

"You sure Bucky, she's got just as much trauma as you," Steve said 

"That's why she's perfect," Bucky said petting my head, 

"Come on let's go fill out the paperwork," The woman said 

"We'll be back girl," Bucky said closing the door and walking with the woman
