Upon entering my room, I found Amber sitting on the floor, searching through the DVDs. The sunlight slipped in through the cream curtains and lit up the plain baby pink walls.

"You're back!" She said as I sat down next to her, looking over her shoulder at the two DVDs she was holding in her hands. "Your parents went out a little ago."

"Oh, thanks! By the way, I'd recommend this one." I said, pointing to the one in her left hand.

"The Craft ... the one from 1996?" She examined the case. "You didn't strike me as a Horror movie watcher."

"You have seen it?" Surprised, my eyes shifted to her. "I have seen a few horror movies."

"I mean, Nancy is iconic." She giggled and stood up. "Want to watch it with me?"

"A horror film? In this catholic household? Obviously yes! Let's watch it right now! I'll serve the lunch." I jumped up and grabbed a cotton shirt and matching pants. "Let me get changed first."

She agreed and waited for me. We hopped downstairs and cooked with the leftover batter. Turning on the television we played the movie.

"We are the weirdos, mister." We said the dialogue with Nancy while we put down our plates. She laughed as she held up her hand for a high five.

"Have you ever been into witchcraft or anything like that?" She asked as the park scene played.

"Kinda? I don't know much about it but it looks cool." I replied. The landline rang and I paused the movie to pick it up. "Yes, mother. I got home at noon." I placed a finger on my lips as Amber observed me from across the room with a wicked look. "Okay. So seven? Okay. Bye!"

"I was going to shout hand me the drugs." Amber elbowed me when I sat down.

"I would have choked you if you had done that." I jokingly warned her and played the movie.

"Kinky!" She responded.

"My parents will be late today. So we are free till seven." I let her know as I held down my laughter.

Amber put her hand around my shoulder and ruffled my hair. We giggled while the girls on the screen walked to the beach.

As the credits rolled, we jumped up and grabbed our dishes.

"Dishes are done. Now what?" Amber asked as we walked upstairs.

"Do you want to explore the neighbourhood? I'll buy you ice cream." I said while opening my closet.

"Can't say no to ice cream."

We dressed up, locked the door and were on our merry way.

"So that's the public park right there." I pointed at the rusty gate behind us. "And that's the church." I pointed ahead.

"Wait, that's our campus right?" She asked, squinting her eyes to spot the gate a few houses past the church.

"Yep. That's our campus. We can go in if you want. It's open for sport practice and other stuff." I told her as I took a lick of my ice cream.

She finished hers and tossed the wrapping into the wastebasket nearby. "Let's go!"

The campus was oblivious to us when we entered. Walking along the bricked road, I showed her the different buildings.

"This is our auditorium. The hall behind it is the sports centre. That's the play ground up on that hill and past it is the boys' school." I gave her a tour.

"Isn't it weird having a girls' school and boys' school on the same campus? I mean it might as well been a single co-Ed school." She crunched up her nose.

"If you get caught talking to a boy, the teachers will report you to your parents." I laughed as I bopped her nose.

"Seriously?" She was bewildered. I nodded and we walked along.

"We will get scolded if we head there without a teacher's permission." I added. "And this is our school's main building." I stopped in front of the entrance to the white building.

Her eyes dragged across the giant structure while mine landed on her. She had a good build and a confident posture. Her style was masculine and her clothes highlighted her body almost perfectly.

"You two! Are you students?" A teacher walked in behind us. "Y/N, here for volleyball practice?" She asked when we turned around, her eye lit up in recognition.

"No, Ms.Song. Just showing a new student around." I gave her an awkward smile. "Amber, this is Ms.Victoria Song , she teaches English." I introduced her.

Amber gave a small bow and greeted the young cheerful teacher. "Good morning ma'am!"

"Good morning! I look forward to seeing you two in class. I have a meeting right now, so I should get going." She took her leave.

"Good bye!" We said in union as the brunette walked away.

"Do you want to head back?" I asked her when we were alone.

"Sure. It's nearly four o'clock." She checked her watch.

It was an uneventful walk back. We settled in and I got to work on my project. By the time my parents were home, I was done.

"And send." I clicked the icon and the email was sent. Closing my laptop, I rolled my shoulders. I checked the time. "Dinner! Let's head down, Amber!"

Victoria Song in the house y'all! I really miss her with the group. Anyway, stream 'Roof on fire'!

Hugs and kisses from Cheonsa.
