Time Trap

Chapter One

       It was a bright, sunny Saturday morning and Brian thought he should go hiking with his friends Jordan and Daniel. He picked up his phone to call them.
         "Hey Jordan, what's up". "I'm good man". "Wanna go hiking?". "Yeah, sure". "Okay meet me at my place in fifteen". "Ok".
           "Hey, Danny, how you doing? ". "I'm cool, what's up with you? ". "Well, I was wandering if you wanted to go hiking with us, Jordan and I? ". "Yeah!". "Okay, my place in fifteen? ". "Sure, man".
          "I better go get ready". Brian said to himself.
Just as he was zipping up his hiking bag he heard a knock on the door.
            "Hey, Danny ". "Hey man". (They shared a half hug).
"Come on in, I'm almost done". Daniel strolled into the living room and plopped down on the couch.
"Jordan isn't here yet?". "No not yet". "Ok, I'm done let's get this stuff into my car".
As they were putting the things into the boot of the car Jordan arrived with his cousin Lisa.
           "Hey guys". "Hey". Brian and Daniel responded. "Sorry I'm kinda late but my cuz, Lisa came over and wanted to go hiking with me, I tried to discourage her but she insisted". "It's cool". Brian said.
"Ok, you guys put your stuff in the car, let's go". Daniel said.
                They all got into the car and Brian  drove to the hiking site.
               "Ah, the air smells so fresh". Lisa said. "Yeah, it's nice". Brian said.
They continued hiking silently for a couple of hours.
         "Hey guys is it just me or is the weather changing ". Jordan said. "Yeah it seems like it ". Daniel said. "Maybe we should call it a day and head back to the car". Lisa said. "Yeah I agree, let's go ". Brian said.
As they were heading back a heavy rain started.
            "Oh my gosh, it's raining and we are a long way from the car what do we do?". Lisa said. "Uh, I don't know maybe we should keep walking". Jordan said.
As they kept walking further the rain got heavier and the wind blew violently shaking the trees.
               "Guys we can't keep going let's look for some kind of shelter". Daniel said.
After some minutes of searching Brian exclaimed "Hey you guys, I found a cave".
