To be honest, I didn't want to leave when things were about to happen, things that I had always wanted for years. But Khalil wouldn't give me even a chance to be angry at him, so I couldn't make him change gis mind. He didn't leave Fatma also, he'd sent to a boarding school which I was against too but he wouldn't listen.
While he drove me to the airport, I refused to talk to him or even look his way, this time I was really upset.
"Won't you talk to me?" He glanced at me
"Babe." He called when I didn't reply
"Should we go back home?" He asked and before I could nod and scream a yes, he'd gone "Never mind, since you wouldn't talk to me."
"I never said I wouldn't talk to you..I was in the middle of a supplication for a safe flight, that's why." I pouted
"Oh. May the Almighty answer your supplication." He said in mock humbleness
"Uhm. You asked a question, right?" I grinned sheepishly
"No, I was thinking out loud. Sorry, did I interrupt your supplication?" He chortled
Urghhhhhhhhh
"Haba Lily. You know I love you and..." He began to hum a song and I had no choice than to keep quiet.
When we reached the airport, I dramatically stormed out of the car and leaned on it.
I heard Khalil chuckle as he came out, then he came to face me."Baby, are you okay?" He leaned down to level his face with mine, while his arms were folded too.
"Don't call me that. I'm not your baby." I turned my face away
"Haba Baby. You know I love you." He mimicked me and I hit him on the chest, to earn a good laugh from him.
"So, will you miss me?" He asked and I ignored him
"Babe"
"Won't you talk to me?"
"Okay. I'm cancelling my plans of visiting you the bimonthly." He went to the trunk to get my things
"Hey hey. You can't do that to me." It was his turn to ignore me
"Mr. Arrogant."
"Hey babe.." Just when he turned with my luggage bag in his hand, I leaned up and pecked him on the lips but this time, I didn't feel embarrassed or uncomfortable.
"What was that?" He frowned
Hehhe
He wants to form now"Where?" I tried to frown
"What did you just do?" He really looked serious and something told me to run away.
When I decided to heed, he grabbed me by the waist to merge our lips.
