''I have had it with you mr and mr Weasely. I want you to go down to Professor Dumbledors office'' Professor Snape said to the two ginger boys

''Professor!'' ''we didn't even do anything!''  ''mums gonna kill us George''  ''don't you think i know that Fred?'' no matter how much the twins argued with their teacher, they were still sent to Dumbledor's office, but they were surprised when they saw a ginger haired woman with bright green eyes sitting there with a book and wand in hand.

''...what..? vanilla and cream in a drought of peace potion...oh great. i brought my dessert book instead of my spell book! ...i think every book should be a dessert book'' she said to herself.

The two boys looked at her strangely ''uhhh miss?''  ''why are you outside Professor Dumbledors office?'' 

she looked up at them and her face broke out into a grin ''why hello! my names Miss Ruby! Im the new receptionist! oh! it seems like im seeing double! now...red hair, and double vision, you two must be the weasely twins! now what can i do for you two?'' 

''uhh we got sent to Dumbledors office'' George said a bit uncertain 

''more like snape decided to get rid of us for breathing...'' Fred whispered under his breath.

Miss Ruby stopped and stared at the two. ''ya know? this is my first day and i've already had 4 kids not including yourselves come down hear because they were sent by him, each one of them sent back to class. i haven't met him but i think hes lost it. anyway, would ya like a biscuit hun? ya might as well sit down there and wait for 15 minutes and head back to class, no point in sending ya in. between you and me, Dumbledor told me not to send any students into his office who are sent by snape unless another teacher complains about that student, so you two? your fiinneee. now, have a chocolate frog and sit down and enjoy yourselves while your here!''

the two gingers looked at her, shrugged and sat down with a chocolate frog each. 

''she seems nice'' George said while looking at the card he got

''yeah, she seems okay...bloody hell, i got Dumbledor again'' Fred said as he looked at his card.

suddenly a first year Ravenclaw came running in with her hair green and water dripping from her damp clothing. Miss Ruby looked at her shocked ''oh honey! what happened to you?'' 

the girl started sniffling ''s-some b-boys out of s-slytherin decided t-to turn m-my hair green a-and throw me i-in the lake during lunch'' 

Miss Ruby started rummaging under her desk and brought out some equipment  ''oh honey! alright, hears a new uniform and hers a sick note, you can go down to madam Pomfrey and she will get the green outta your hair and then you can sit hear for a while with me okay hun? you gotta friend?'' the girl nods ''well you bring your friend up here and i will take care of those boys for you okay hun? don't you worry, i got you''  the girl sniffled, took the clothing and left.

Miss Ruby looked at her watch '' okay Fred and George you both can head back to class. if either of you have any problems, come to me and we can sort it out'' the boys nodded and left

''wait so she just GAVE you chocolate frogs and biscuits and a 15 minute break?'' lee asked astonished 

''yeah! i think we could get away with anything with this teacher'' Fred said excitedly

''i dunno Fred, i dont think we should mess with her'' 

''come on it'll be fun''

it was not fun 

lee, Fred and George all sat in front of Miss Ruby with a sour look on her face. she sighs and rubs the bridge of her nose ''im sorry  boys, im gonna have to either contact your mother or give a detention depending on what you do next'' she began writing the letter and the boys tried to protest. ''im sorry but you cant expect me not to have you punished. you blew up the herbology section of the Library with no reason! now, i can either contact your mother, send you into Dumbledor where you can be expelled or you can have detention with your house Professor for a month, fix, clean and organise the library and apologise to the librarian. you boys gotta choice here and there's no other option, so i suggest you choose wisely''

the boys sighed and decided to go with the last option. they learned that day that she Miss Ruby may be hufflepuff material, but she aint no pushover.
