~Kagehina one shots~

~ Our Milk Carton~

Prologue: Hinata and Kageyama are now second years at Karasuno, they're both still on the volleyball team with their friends, minus last years third years who have now graduated. Over the summer they got surprisingly close, going to the beach together, meeting up to practice volleyball at the park or even sometimes spending the night at each others home. Unexpectedly, Kageyama caught feelings for his small tangerine. He never thought of him in any romantic way before, but now that's all he could think of.

~End of prologue~

~Kageyamas POV:

I woke up late...again, i wasn't late for practice or class, but I was late to race Hinata to the gym. Every morning, at the same spot, we'd meet 10 minutes before practice, and race to the gym. I sighed picking up my bag and running out the door, not even saying bye to my mom. I ran as fast as I could to see Hinata half way to the gym walking slowly, I could tell he was pouting and I immediately felt bad but I kept running. "BOKE CMON HURRY" I screamed before passing Hinata, leaving him in the dust "HAHA!! HEY! I THOUGHT YOU DITCHED ON THE RACE" He screamed before starting to run and catching up to me. We ended up entering the gym at the same time, making it a tie. Hinata collapsed on the ground, beginning to catch his breath while I was leaning against the wall doing the same.

To our surprise, no one else was in the gym yet. I fell down against the wall and opened my bag to try and find my water bottle. "Fuck I forgot it" I said with a sigh. "Hm? Oh are you thirsty kags?" Hinata asked while coming to sit beside me "Oh yea, a bit" I say closing my bag. Hinata then gets up and grabs his wallet from his backpack, then shakes it in my face "want some milk?" He asks with a giggle. That stupid giggle...it's so annoying..but I can't deny how adorable it is, I wanna punch him and hug him at the same time- WHAT AM I THINKING UGH "yea sure" I said while my face started to get hot and I got all pink. "Mhm lets go!" Hinata says reaching his small hand out to help me get up, I take his hand and when I stand up he starts running, hand still in mine, towards the vending machine "HEY SLOW DOWN IDIOT OH MY GOD" I yell barely gaining my balance "HAHA CMON KEEP UP" he yells back at me with a smile, making me blush a little more.

~Hinatas POV:
I haven't felt this happy since me and kageyama spent the night at his house, watching horror movies. I was sad when I got to school this morning and he wasn't anywhere to be found, but when I saw him running towards me I felt a burst of happiness spike through me. Now I'm running with him again, towards the vending machine "HAHA CMON KEEP UP" I yelled happily towards Kageyama. I was always happy to be around him but especially now since I got to hold his hand, they were much bigger than mine, so much so that we'd joke about it ever so often. "Here we are" I said, getting my head out of the clouds and stopping at the vending machine letting go of kageyamas hand. "You could've given me a warning before starting to run so fast, I was still out of breath from before" kags said looking down at me "whatever it was fun running with you!" I said jumping up and down "oh yes here!" I say handing him my debit card. "Uh boke, it takes cash" he says, letting out a sigh of disappointment "I HAVE CASH KAGEYAMA" I shout back at him "but only enough for one, so can we share?" I ask looking up at him.

"Meh, sure why not" he said with a small smile and his cheeks got a little pink "NICE" I yelled, buying one milk carton and handing it to him "here you can have it first! I did make you run more anyway" I said with a smile before kags took the box from my hand "thanks, running was fun anyway so I don't care" he said before pushing the straw into the hole and taking a sip. "Wanna go back to the gym?" I asked him "nah we can stay here together for now, we still have enough time until the team usually gets here" kags said before handing me the milk. I don't know why, but hearing him say that made me kinda happy. I always liked spending time with him, but lately, the time alone made me extra happy, it made me feel special knowing Kageyama wanted to spend time with me, and me alone.

~Kageyamas POV:

I didn't wanna go back to the gym, I liked sitting here alone with Hinata. I looked over at him to see him picking up the milk carton and taking a sip as well, "god he's cute...." wait- I just.. "HUH???" Hinata shouted, his face bright red and almost dropping the milk. I said that out loud....I said he was cute, out loud. Fuck me "NOTHING SHUT UP" I yelled back before face palming "you said I was cuteeeee" he whispered into my ear before giggling "YEA AND IF YOU DONT STOP BEING SO ADORABLE ILL FUCKING KILL YOU" I shouted smacking the back of his head "wait you weren't joking??" He asked with a look of shock on his face "uh...I mean no..I think you're cute.." I said. why'd I say that. I could've said it was a lie, but deep down I kinda wanted to let him know how I feel "well you're cute too" hinata said, I looked up to see his face bright red with a small smile, i couldn't see myself, but I knew I was beat red as well "you say a word to anyone about this and you will regret every decision you've ever made" I say whilst leaning towards him, what am I doing...

~Hinatas POV:

I was bright red after Kageyama called me cute, I was so happy I wanted to jump around for hours. "you say a word to anyone about this and you will regret every decision you've ever made" he said. Obviously I knew he was talking about the compliment he gave, but when he started to lean towards me I got all flustered "I-I won't tell anyone kag-" I was cut off... I was shocked, kageyama was kissing me. This is what he meant when he said not to tell anyone... I kissed back, wrapping my arms around his neck, as he wrapped his around my waist. I could tell my blush darkened, I mean why wouldn't it? I didn't wanna move, I wanted to stay like this forever, in his arms, kissing each other softly. He pulled away breaking the kiss "sorry, I couldn't help myself" he said softly "Don't be sorry! I liked it!!" I said trying to comfort him, and being way too honest doing so. "Good, cause I would do it 100 times again" he said before removing his arms from my waist and ruffling my hair "I love you...I- I LOVE THIS- THE UHM THE MILK MHM" I said, I can't believe I said that.. HOW DID I EVEN DO THAT UGH "don't worry I love you too" kageyama said, standing up and reaching his hand out to help me get up. I gladly took his hand and pulled myself into his chest "youre warm kags.." I hummed while cuddling closer into him "oh whatever, grab my milk and lets go to the gym" he said patting my head "Hey we're sharing remember! It's our milk!" I yelled before picking up the box and walking back to the gym with kageyama.

AN: ok I kinda loved doing this one, I thought the POV idea was kinda fun, to get an idea of what's going on inside their heads you know? Anyway I hope you enjoyed!
