[Vic]

“AWEEE!” I heard a voice say. The voice was familiar, but not one I’m used to waking up to. “Look at them!” I opened my eyes and saw my arms were around… Kellin Quinn? I don't really remember much of last night... but why was I in Ke- oh lord. I... I told Jaime how I feel about him, and kissed him... and he... then I slept over with Kellin... but why am I in his bed? Kellin turned over and smiled at me.

"Good morning!" Just then there was a knock on the door. Justin opened it and I heard Jaime's voice.

"Hey, have you guys seen V –”

"Hey man!" I called over to Jaime, who stepped into their bus. Jaime looked at me and did a double take. I realized my arms were still around Kellin. "Oh yeah, me and Kel hooked up last night!" I said jokingly, drawing Kellin's attention.

"Oh yeahhh," he added, straddling me with a wink towards the boys, then he laughed, as did I while pushing him off me. I stood up and walked over to Jaime, smiling awkwardly.

"Hey, sorry I didn't come back last night," I tried to think of an excuse that didn't involve Jaime but I couldn't.

"Yeah it's fine, but a call or a text would be nice next time!" Jaime laughed and nudged me.

"Wanna stay for breakfast Vic?" Kellin asked me. "You can too Jaime?"

"Yeah sure!" I smiled at the offer. "What is it?" I let out a yawn; I didn't get much sleep last night. Too much worrying about Jaime to get any.

“I’ve got to go back to the guys and tell them I know where you are, sorry guys!” Jaime smiled one of his gorgeous smiles and turned. “Maybe another time though?” He called over his shoulder as he walked away from the bus.

[Jaime]

Vic hadn’t come back last night… where could he be? I picked up my phone and dialed his number, but it went straight to voicemail. Did he turn off his phone?

“Hey Vic, it’s Jaime, call me when you get this? We need to know where you are.” I left the message for him worried. Was this my fault? I hope nothing happened to him. Did he give any hints as to wh – Kellin Quinn. He was talking to him on the phone last night, maybe he’d know? I called Kellin’s phone but got no answer, so I decided to walk over to their bus and see.

I knocked on the door of their bus and Justin opened the door for me. "Hey, have you guys seen V –” I was cut off by the voice of the boy I was looking for.

"Hey man!" I did a double take. Why were Vic’s arms around Kellin? "Oh yeah, me and Kel hooked up last night!" I knew that he was joking, but I felt a pang of jealousy. Could he really get over me that quickly? I caught myself – why did I care whether he liked me or not?

"Oh yeahhh," Kellin added, straddling Vic. I had to hold back a dirty look. What was with me today? I felt a little better when Vic pushed Kellin off of him. Vic walked over to me with a smile on his face. He apologized for not coming back last night, and I told him it was fine but to tell us next time.

"Wanna stay for breakfast Vic?" Kellin asked. Why was the offer to Vic only? "You can too Jaime?" I could tell he only invited me to be polite. After Vic accepted, I made up an excuse of having to tell the others, even though I could just call them, then left.

[Kellin]

“Well, what would you like?” I asked Vic. I was happy he stayed for breakfast. I’d use any excuse I could to be with Vic. Especially without his band mates… not that I didn’t like them, but no one besides my band mates know about my crushing on Vic… and they made it a little obvious with their aw’s this morning. Hopefully Vic didn’t notice…

“Hmm…” Vic let out a sigh while he thought. He had the cutest thinking face! "How about... well..." Vic walked into the kitchen, opening the pantry. I walked up behind him and reached my arm around him to grab the Cheerios. I looked up at him, and he turned and looked at me. Our noses were nearly touching and I could feel his breath on my lips. "Good choice," I smiled at him, and backed away, taking the cereal and grabbing a bowl.

"Want milk Vic?" He nodded, so I poured him some Cheerios then added some milk. I grabbed a bowl for myself, pouring the Cheerios, but no milk. Vic walked out to the table and I followed, sitting by his side. "What are we up to today?" I asked, hoping we'd get to spend some time together before we had to play.

"We play at 1:30, what time do you guys play at?" I held up three fingers because I had a mouthful of Cheerios at the time. "So we've got plenty of time," Vic thought about something then added "anything you wanna do?"

Just then Jesse asked if either of us wanted to come with them to go see some other bands play. I shook my head and so did Vic, pointing to his food. Once he swallowed he said "Maybe later though?" and I agreed. The guys left, leaving the two of us alone, sitting at the table. I got up and turned on the television, to give us something to talk about. I asked him what he wanted to watch, and he held his hand out for the remote. He flicked through the channels and smiled, so I looked to see what he put on.

“Spongebob, really Vic?” I laughed and smiled; I loved how childish he was. He smiled and nodded happily, his eyes glued to the television set like a child. “You gonna finish that?” I asked, him seeming to have forgotten about his cereal. He pushed his cereal away from him and continued to stare. I grabbed his bowl and put it on top of mine, carrying them over to the garbage and pouring them out. I washed our bowls then walked back over to Vic. “You do realize, we have a couch, which is more comfortable, right?”

“Let’s go!” he said, just as it hit a commercial break. He stood up and followed me over to the couch. He sat down and I grabbed the remote, putting SpongeBob on for him again. I sat down beside Vic and our legs were touching. He laid his head on my shoulder and wrapped his one arm around my back, and the other around my waist. He looked at me, so I looked down at him. “Thanks Kellin…”

“For what?” I asked.

“Being there for me.” He smiled as he said that, which made me smile. He looked back at the television and laughed at the episode of SpongeBob playing, his arm still around me and his head still on my shoulder. I felt warm inside, with Vic so close to me in such a loving position. I slouched down a little and wrapped my arm around Vic. We watched television for a while more, but Vic could barely keep his eyes open, so he ended up falling asleep on my lap. It was a bit uncomfortable, but for that adorable face I’d do anything.
