[Vic]

I woke up with my head in Kellin’s lap. I must have a thing for falling asleep on him. He had a hand on my back and was just watching television. I shifted my body and Kellin looked at me. “Hello sleepy head,” he patted my hair. I was looking up at him, and he brushed a piece of hair off my cheek.

“What time is it?” I asked, worried about the times each of us played.

“Don’t worry, it’s only quarter past eleven,” I nodded and he smiled. He looked down on me and let out a sigh, which left me wondering what he was thinking. He glanced back up at the television and grabbed the remote, looking through the channels. I reached for the remote so he handed it to me. “So how are you feeling?” Kellin asked me. I assumed he was talking about everything with Jaime. I shrugged.

“Fine I guess… it hurts of course but…” I trailed off and he nodded knowingly.

“I know how you feel man.” Who was he talking about I wonder? Did he have a crush on one of his band mates? “Jaime is crazy if he doesn’t realize what he’s missing out on.” I smiled at that, and Kellin smiled back. Kellin shifted under me, and I realized he must be rather uncomfortable, with me on him. I sat up and he frowned a little, but he noticed I saw so he smiled and stretched. Kellin was more comfortable than the couch, I realized, after trying to get comfortable with my head on the side. I put my head on Kellin’s shoulder.

“I hope you don’t mind?” I asked hesitantly. Kellin smiled at me.

“Of course not.” Kellin wrapped his arm around me and pulled me closer to him. It felt kind of nice, having someone close to me, even if I’d rather it be Jaime. “Hey Vic?”

“Yeah?”

“Can I tell you something?”

“Of course Kellin.” He could always tell me anything he wanted to. He thought for a moment before replying.

“Actually, can I show you?” I raised my eyebrows at him but nodded anyways. Kellin turned on the couch to face me, sitting cross-legged. I sat to face him, crossing my legs as well. He looked at me for a little while, and I assumed he was thinking, so I just smiled. He bit his lip and kind of grinned.

[Kellin]

I’m going to do it, I thought to myself. I’m going to kiss Vic Fuentes. I shifted so that I was sitting on my knees then brushed Vic’s hair back, so it was out of his face, letting my fingers linger a little longer than necessary. I leaned forward so that our noses were touching. I waited to see how Vic would react, but he didn’t. I tilted my head and gently pushed my lips to his. I held them there for a few seconds then pulled away. Wow. “Jaime’s lucky he has someone like you who likes him…” Vic blushed, grinning a little at me. “I’m sorry for doing this so soon after what happened with Jaime… I just can’t help myself.” I gave him a sheepish grin.

“It’s alright Kellin,” Vic said, placing his hand on mine, which was on my knee. “I knew he was straight anyways… I just couldn’t accept the fact. I just need to work on getting over him.” I’d love to be the one to help him with that, get him to fall for me… I flipped my hand over, so my hand was palm-in-palm with Vic’s. I grabbed his hand and smiled.

“Seriously though Vic, you’re absolutely amazing. I’d kill to be the one you like.”

“Haha,” he laughed, “you never know, maybe I’ll fall for you!” He winked at me and I felt butterflies in my stomach. I hope he actually did.

“Well maybe you should give me a try?” I said shyly, half joking.

“Maybe I should! But only if you want me to…” Of course I wanted him to! I want Vic to myself.

“Well of course I do. So will you give it a try? Will you be my…” I was cut off by my band mates bursting through the door. Perfect timing guys.

“Hey guys!” I waved at the, and Vic said hey back, then Gabe noticed the annoyed look I had on my face. “We interrupting something?” Vic leaned over and whispered in my ear, tickling it with his breath.

“Yes, I will.” I got the biggest smile on my face right then. Vic kissed my cheek.

“What’s going on here?” Jack asked. I bit my lip and smiled while Vic shrugged his shoulders. I grabbed Vic’s hand, my fingers intertwined with his. “Oh my god!” Jack smiled.

“What went on while we were gone‽” Jesse said.

“Kellin, are you two together, finally?” Justin questioned. To answer him, I turned to Vic and put my hand on the back of his head, leaning in for a kiss. It was just as amazing as the first. “Oh thank god, I was getting tired of hearing about Vic!” He joked, and a blush crept up my face.

“Did you guys wanna come out for lunch with us?” I checked the time, 11:43. We had almost two hours until Vic had to play. I looked at Vic. “Vic, your band mates are coming too, and a few others,” he added.

“Whatever you want baby,” Vic said with a smile.

“May as well!” I stood up, still holding Vic’s hand. My band mates turned and walked out the door, waiting outside for Vic and I to get our shoes on and come. We walked hand-in-hand, to some restaurant. The guys decided they wanted to go somewhere nicer because Vic and I had just gotten together.
