Damien was in his phone, starting to get tired after he and Bradley had been snarfing down junk food and playing video games all night. He looked over to the already sleeping Bradley. Damien took a look longer than he intended. The way the blanket draped only half onto his body from Bradley tossing and turning, Bradley now resting on his stomach. The way his golden blonde hair fall perfectly into place, framing his peaceful expression. His eyes were closed, his plump pink lips parted slightly, and a steady slow breath being inhaled and exhaled through his nose. The sharpness of his strong naked shoulder blades and the narrow curve of his hips. His long legs and half his torso being hidden by his comforter. He finally tore his eyes away and turned off his phone, the room going almost pitch black. He takes one final look outside of the window, one final worried look at the storm clouds brewing. He lay down on the floor at the foot of Bradley's bed and gets comfortable before falling asleep.
...
BOOM!
He woke up to the sound of thunder. Damien hated thunderstorms. He had been staying the night at his friend Bradley's house so he was sleeping on the floor of his best friend's room. He had a hunch earlier that it would rain and he was fine with rain, but he lived in an area where if it was a thunderstorm it was extreme. Damien was deathly afraid of thunder. He usually didn't go out when it was rainy to avoid being seen by people what happens when he gets terrified. But he and Bradley had a special bond and Bradley knew about Damien's fear.
When the storm started getting real bad, Damien stared whimpering. How pathetic he thought to himself, I can't even handle a little lightning. His eyes started watering as a massive flash of lightning coupled with a thundering boom shook the house. It was cold, very cold, and awful, and scary.
He threw he blanket over himself and assumed the fetal position covering his ears, every boom doubled with a whimper escaping his lips. Suddenly he is being scooped up bridal style, his blanket falling off, and being carried to the bed. He looks up and is surprised to see a disgruntled and concerned Bradley that had come to his aid. Bradley lay him down on the bed and he layed down in front Damien. Bradley grabbed Damien's hip and pulled him closer then pulling the comforter over the two, finally resting his arms half hugging Damien's torso. Bradley goes back to falling asleep as if nothing had happened. Damien had cuddled in closer to Bradley their faces only a lips length away, foreheads touching, and limbs entangled. It was warm under the blanket, a nice comfortable warm, and much more preferable than the unpleasant cold that was the floor. Bradley did one more thing before he fell asleep, he opened his eyes examining Damien's face, looking at his lips, then his eyes. What he did next pleasantly shocked Damien, Bradley leaned in and kissed Damien. Bradley's lips felt warm and soft on Damien's, a comfortable kiss. It wasn't long, and no words were exchanged afterwards, but Damien immediately felt better and the storm didn't seem to bother him anymore. He dozed off into a warm and deep sleep.
