Alexander Hamilton, Aaron Burr, John Lawrence, Hercules Mulligan (bra bra) and Lafayette (or Marie-Joseph Paul Yves Roch Gilbert du Motier, Marquis de La Fayette) were at a winters ball, some point in the middle of the revolution, looking to find a wife. The Schuyler sisters where the envy of all, to marry a sister would be incredibly lucky because their father was a very rich man and could afford anything he and his 3 daughters (Peggy, Eliza and Angelica) could ever wish for. Alexander had his eye on one of the sisters, Angelica. He could see in her hazel eyes that she felt the same way as she glanced across the room in his direction. Angelica and Eliza were the closest sisters you could ever meet, they never argued and could tell each other everything. Angelica Schuyler knew her sister like she knew her own mind and could see in her eyes she was helpless, and she knew she was just helpless! But she didn't want to give him up because if she told her that she loved him Eliza would silently be resigned, she would say she was fine but Angelica would be able to tell she was lying. Angelica builds up the courage to go and talk to Hamilton while he is with his fellow soldiers, their conversation last 2 minutes maybe 3, everything they said was in total agreement like a dream and she will never forget the first time he saw his face, she has never been the same, intelligent eyes and a hunger for fame and when he said hi she forgot her name, set her heart aflame and told her he had never been satisfied and could tell she hadn't either Angelica was the oldest, wittiest, gossip, had to marry rich and found New York City insidious but Alexander was penniless, that doesn't mean she wanted him any less. And that he was after her cause she was a Schuyler sister that elevates the sadder side, she'd have to be naive to set that aside but she didn't care, she wanted for herself no matter what her sister said or did to her.

A few weeks later they were married at the Schuyler mansion on the 14th of December 1780.
