It was the other day and lucky us we actually slept well. Class was in 5 hours or so and yes we woke up at 4:30p.m cause we needed to go to the beach and shower where people cleaned the sand off them. We knew nobody was on the beach at 4 am.
"Whoever's get last it's a chicken" I said as I started running while looking back at them. We all catch up to the beach and some minutes later we came back. Big brain of us to leave our things behind, what if someone stole our backpacks but I guess this is a safe street since our school is in front of us maybe that's why we don't see anyone around. However once we got ready we put everything in our backpacks and cross the street went straight to our school doors, waited the security's guys to open it. Hour's pass but they finally open them and we head inside it, It's good to be inside I feel fresh and cold. I can also start smelling those good foods there making. I guess we're gonna have to buy food since we never ever had buy launches after all our parents did cook for us but now it's over. To be honest I always wanted to taste the school launches, I mean they do sound good and they smell good. We head to class, it was already starting.
"Alright kids today were gonna do a fun activity" Mrs.Brawn, the history teacher said.
Everyone stood quiet, she is the one and fun teacher that everyone loves.
"Since tomorrow is family night, how about we speak about some vacations or fun moments together? "she asked
The whole class nodded while some kids in the background were gossiping about Isabella, I really didn't know if they were talking about my friend or another Isabella.
"Isn't Isabella such a freak and the worst part is that her last name is Paris "Hannah said
That when I heard it I turned around to look at them it was Alice and Hanna ex friends from Rosa. I can't believe they were talking about her. I can not let this happen.
"I'll be right back" Mrs. Brawn said as she walked out of the classroom.
That when I thought it was my chance I jumped out of my sit and went on top of Hannah she was the one more talking about her I punched her face as hard as I could until she cried and beg me to stop. Some kids were holding me, trying to put me as far away from her but I wouldn't let go. After a moment or so they finally got me to stop. Alice looked at me with a dead stare.
"What is your problem!" she screamed at me from the anger.
"Well, don't talk about my friends!!" I screamed back at her.
"What is going on here,! "the teacher yelled.
I turned around and I saw Mrs. Brawn looking at the whole class disappointed,
"what's up with all of the screaming? And why do you have blood in your hands Skylar?"
Then she saw Hannah all beat up.
"Alice can you please take Hannah to the nurse office," she spoke
"And you Skylar principals office this is nonsense! I can't believe you, the worst part is you never ever gave me trouble before. Main office now!"
I walked out of the classroom and went to the bathroom to clean myself up. After I finished cleaning the blood off my hands I walked out of the bathroom straight to the main office and looked at Ms. Gambino.
"I didn't expect you here Skylar, and I never did" she looked down at some papers
"I know you never did." I told her
"Then? "she looked at me
"I am not sorry." I stood still and looked at her in silence until she spoke
"What happened that made you do that? "she asked
"They were talking nonsense." I said calmly, trying to not get in more trouble than I already am.
"Like what nonsense?" she looked at me in the eyes
"Friends" I started crying
"Woah, its okay" she got up and hug me
"There the only thing I have right now" I mumble
"And your parents?" she sat me down
"I ran away from home, and because of me they also loss their home" I cried
"Hmm, go on" she pass me a tissue box
"We only got each other left, so I wanted to defend them" I kept going
"I'll talk to your girl's parents "she said as picking up her phone
"No, Pls don't" I begged
"Okay, but you girls gotta stay somewhere" she put her phone down
Silence was everywhere.
"You guys can stay with me "she finally said
"Wouldn't that bother you?" I asked
"No of course not, after all, you never caused me trouble before. Your friends names?"
"Rosa and Isabelle"
"That's amazing, of course you guys can stay! After all you guys are my good kids"
I smiled and she smiled at me also,
"Now, go on, head to class. I'll see you in my office after school"
I got up from my seat happy and about to open the door before she said
"Keep up with the good work. "she smile
"Thank you, we appreciate it." I smiled back and left.
