If I was the earth
That would make her the Moon
For she shines brighter than those no named stars twinkling in my view
Just the fact that she orbits around me is proof of her worth
In this galaxy of confused love
No time for the Sun with her fiery temper
Pluto so depressing so distant
Saturn with her rings her love of wealth
Mercury and Mars just no competition
While Venus stands head high on top of the list
Guess it's too late for sorry she wasn't my first pick...
Yet the Moon she brightens me on those lonely dark nights
So I'll wait for that eclipse that brings us closer as one
