Pt.5 "What was that?"

As we continued to walk back too the beach house something caught my eye, im pretty sure kyoko noticed it too but when she saw me starting to turn my head she swiftly and gently turned my face towards her cupping my check with her hand. At first i was confused at why she did the action, "ohh hoo hoo.. Kyoko.. i didnt know you had it in you too hit on me." I said jokingly. "Dont take it the wrong way, come on we're almost there." She said with an annoyed tone. I guess im living up too what she said before.

Kyoko twisted the door handle then questioned "why does no one lock the door?" Before opening it and walking inside, i walked in behind her. Im pretty sure i was the last one too leave, but ill just keep that too myself. She scanned the living room, which also confused me, what was she looking for? I mean she is also the ultimate detective so, i guess being overly observant is a trait of hers. "Come on, your rooming with me for tonight," she said calmly while starting too walk up the stairs. I quickly followed behind too catch up too her, "hm? Why?" Once she got outside of the room her and byakuya shared she gave me a blank stare while leaning on the door frame. Then it hit me "Oooh.." she nodded and went inside, "is it really okay for me too be in here what about Byakuya?" She didnt reply too me so i just followed behind. As too my surprise byakuya wasnt here.. before my mind began too wonder Kyoko interjected "you can borrow some of my clothes." She said passing me a a purple shirt and some shorts, "are you sure? I dont mind going too my room," she nodded then added "its fine I honestly dont mind" she walked out the room with some clothes from her closet which gave me time too change.

I stood there waiting for her for a few minutes till she walked back in, removing her hair that was stuck in her shirt and using a hair tie to tie it up into a bun. She grabbed the key that she had that unlocked the room door and locked the door, "..what about Byakuya, couldnt hw just use his?" I asked. She held up the corresponding key that originally belonged too the ultimate affluent progeny, "he'll work out his sleeping arrangements. On his own time" She said coldly.

She partially removed the covers so she could lay down. I didnt want too sleep in byakuyas bed, mostly because i felt bad, but thats also weird.. i almost know nothing about the guy, "Can.. i.." i began too ask, before she moved the covers a bit and pat the empty space beside her, i gently crawled into bed beside her. And placed my phone on the table beside the bed. And sighed "Thank you Kyoko.. your an awesome friend. Your nicer then people give you credit for.." i said smiling ear to ear. "Your welcome." She said calmly, i swear i heard a smile. With my psychic intuition I predicted such!.

After a few minutes of reliving the day i had in my mind and thinking about all that had happened today, i slowly drifted off too a calm slumber thinking about Kyoko Kirigiri and the kindness shes showed me today.
