Chapter 8:
*Tessa's POV*
I start to gather my things to head out of DADA when Professor Lupin stops me.
"Malfoy. How's the progress?"
"It's going great Remus. He already trusts me." I reply
"That's perfect. Now you cannot tell anyone about this plan. We have to pull this off flawlessly or else it's not going to work." He says with a warning look.
"I know sir. I want this to work out. I mean after everything he's done, it's the least I can do." He nods at my response and dismisses me. I decided to go back to my dorm since it was late at night and I didn't really feel like going to dinner. While the professors trust me, they still gave me my own dorm since they figured other students would complain about me. I sit at my desk tapping my fingers as I finish my book. *POP* I look to my left and see a house elf standing in my dorm with a plate of food.
"Master Snape said Master Tessa must eat." The little elf squeaks as it hands me steak and potatoes. I take it from their hands and give them a warm smile. House elves always brought out the soft side for me.
"Thank you so much. What is your name?"
"Winny! Winny is so honored to serve Master Tessa!" I laugh.
"How do you already know my name?" I look at Winny with a puzzled look.
"Everyone knows Master Tessa's name!" I sigh and look down at my plate, pushing around my potatoes with my fork. "Is Master Tessa upset?" Winny questions.
"I'm not upset. Just kind of overwhelmed. No one really wants to talk to me because they're terrified. And the ones that do talk to me are either intimidated by me or did it for a dare." I reply with a frown.
"Master Tessa will be a great friend! Winny thinks Master Tessa is brilliant!" Winny beams. I laugh and give her another thank you and she leaves my room. After I finish my food I get ready to sleep. I lie down in my soft bed and close my eyes and drift to sleep.
