There was a knock at my door so I went and opened the door.
"Hi.,"
Peter said softly
"Hey"
I said back and looked behind him to his aunt in the car.
"you look really pretty"
Peter said after looking me up and down. I smiled
"You look pretty too"
I said and he chuckled.
"Oh I got this for you"
He said and held out a small plastic box that held a pink corsage inside.
He opened the box and put it on my wrist.
I kissed his cheek and he blushed
"We should go"
He said and looked back at the car.
I nodded and we walked to the car and sat inside
"It's great to finally meet the lady who peters always talking about"
May, peters aunt. Said to me and looked into the rearview mirror to get a good look at me.
"That's very kind...Thank you for driving us Ms.Parker"
"I could've driven us if I knew know to drive"
Peter said to me quietly.
My phone buzzed and tony texted me.
"Hey, kid! Just a heads up. Moving the avenger's tower closer to where you live. Want to pop by after your dance?"
I read.
Right. It's moving day.
"Thanks for letting me know. Definitely will come to see <3"
I messaged back then slipped my phone back into my purse.
We got to the school where cars and students were scattered around.
"Bye ms.parker."
I said to may as we stepped out of the car
"Bye May!"
Peter said to her
"Alright you kids have fun but not too much fun"
She said then drove off.
I took peter's hand as we started to walk in then he paused.
He looked over to where he was looking which was towards someone from the decathlon team with what I assumed was her dad.
"What's wrong"
I said quietly as peter continued starring at them.
"I-I'm going to go.. do something"
He let go of my hand and walked back over to them.
Through the door, the girls who I was talking to earlier and helped decorate for homecoming came bursting through doors.
They insisted on me dancing with them, getting food, but I wanted to wait for peter.
I waited for a few minutes and I started to get cold so I went inside then, finally. Peter came to me but he looked like he'd seen a ghost.
"There you are."
I said to peter
"Gotta- I gotta go"
Peter said to me looking at the back door then at me.
"What?"
I asked confused
"I'm- I'm sorry. You don't deserve this"
Before I could respond or even think he walked away toward the door.
What just happened.
"Girl go get your man"
One of the girls who I was with said.
I nodded and walked toward where Peter was.
I saw his tie laying on the ground along with peter's suit jacket.
I quickly walked toward where his trail of clothes which led to the back door.
I opened it and stepped out. I saw peter in a homemade suit with one of those guys we tracked down to the school.
I ran over and saw his web shooter laying on the ground. I picked it up and webbed the guy's hand
"Nice shot!"
Peter said. I threw him the web-shooter and he trapped the guy in a bus.
Ned came out and looked at me and peter.
"Oh hey- Ned, the guy with the wings well- I just met him"
Peter said as he his web-shooter back on the suit
"What?"
Ned asked for peters ridiculous claim
"I know! I gotta tell Mr. Stark. Call Happy Hogan. He's Mr. Stark's head of security. And, uh, get a computer to track my phone for me."
Peter said and I scoffed
"Hey, I have a direct source to tony I can help y out too. I'm a superhero too."
Peter put his hand on his hip.
"Sometimes I forget that- can you call Mr.stark or happy or whoever-"
Peter said but I interrupted him
"I'm coming with you"
I said and Peter started to walk off
"No your not"
"Yes, I am."
"Can't catch me"
Peter said and swung away
"Are you gonna be okay?!"
Ned yelled
"Yeah, I'll be fine! But hurry, we gotta catch him before he leaves town."
Peter yelled back and then swung away.
Ned looked at me with a "What the hell just happened" face.
Me and Ned went into the computer room and he started doing stuff and I started to figure out how to call tony or happy.
I tried calling tony but he didn't answer.
Ned took out his phone and called peter
"Hello, Ned? Y/n? Can you hear me?"
Peter asked through the phone
"We can hear you"
I said
"Go for Ned"
Ned said and put the phone down in between us.
"I need you guys to track my phone"
Peter said
"Where is it?"
I asked
"In wing guys pocket"
Peter said
I and Ned looked at each other in awe of how smart peter was
"Genius move. He just passed the GameStop on Jackson Avenue"
Ned said and I sighed
"Ned can you figure out how I can call happy"
"On it"
Ned said and we swapped seats
"Can one of you figure out where headlights are in this thing? I'm in flash's car"
"You stole flash's. That's awesome"
I looked up where headlights would be in flash's car while Ned figured out how to get to happy. I didn't have Happy a direct number so I couldn't call him on my phone.
