Author's Note
What up weirdos?
How was your dayyy?
I'm really bored.
I started a random imagines book if you wanna read it-
Okay I'm sure no one cares what I have to say, so here's the chapter.
OH YEAH....I also didn't edit
Almost forgot the catchphrase wow-
Genesis's POV:
"Genesis Norwood," I gave a quick nod.
"So are you going to try to convince me to sell you my soul or something?" He raised a brow with me. The boy was strangely confident although he had encountered someone like me.
"Erm...no...what?" I scrunched my face up in confusion, "That's not something that we actually do."
"Oh..." He muttered.
"You act like that's disappointing," I laughed and shook my head.
"So if that's not what you're here for...why are you here?" He asked.
"To explore," I said blandly. My gaze shifted to the ceiling, "It's always been my dream to roam the overworld and discover every aspect of the culture and society. There's so much that your world has to offer compared to where I'm from; so much to learn and experiment with. I want to lead a life here," My tone lightened in excitement. I'm sure my eyes were filled with a sort of "sparkle" that windowed into the excitement that flowed through every ounce of my being.
"Trust me, this place isn't that interesting," He rolled his eyes and stood up, "Take it from someone who's lived here their entire life."
"Oh but it is," I went on as he walked over to his bed. He laid down on his back and stared up at the ceiling.
"There's so much potential every single element of this world has," I added.
"I can guarantee you that we're not that interesting. That hole..." He pointed his finger at the portal, "And you.." His arm shifted so that his finger was directed at me, "Are the most interesting things I've ever seen in my life," His arm dropped down next to him as he concluded.
"That's because you grew up with all of this stuff. If you'd had the boring childhood that I did, you'd be just as excited to get here as me," I responded.
"You grew up with magical powers," He challenged. He sat up and tapped the bed next to him, gesturing to me to sit down. I followed his instruction and sat next to him as he flopped back onto his back.
"It's not that impressive once you get used to it," I sighed and leaned back with him, my hands intertwined at my stomach, "I honestly find everything about Earth much more astonishing, and I want to live here..... but I didn't exactly have a plan before coming here so I don't know how I'll do that...but I'm sure I'll figure something out."
"So wait," He turned his head and looked at me, "You're not planning on stealing my soul or eating me or my family right?"
"Right," I verified.
"Then I guess you could stay here...." He said hesitantly.
I turned my head to the side so that we were both looking at each other. I furrowed my eyebrows, "Why?" I questioned. I didn't have an issue with staying, but his response was very unexpected. It would add a lot of complications to his life for someone he had only just met.
"Because you're going to get arrested on your own if you think you can just barge into people's houses and you clearly didn't know that based on you being here right now, so you're definitely not going to be okay on your own here," He held eye contact.
