The coffee, which is extremely hot by the way, flies out and splatters all over creepy hoodie rude guy. The cup hits the other side of the booth and then proceeds to roll onto the floor, thankfully remaining in one piece.
I look up under my disasterous hair from my position on the floor, to see the guy jumping up and repeatedly cursing. I quickly stand up, and go to his aid.
"oh my gosh, I'm so sorry!" I shout. "here, I can go get you some clothes and clean this up, plus cover your bill!"
By now, Travis has reemerged from the kitchen, only to burst out laughing. I glare at him. Way to help.
"No, just leave it, I'll be fine." He growls, while pulling of his sweatshirt. I can't help but ogle temporarily at the totally sexy and defined arms he pulls out.
"A-are you sure? Really, its no problem at all, we keep extras in the back and--"
"no goddamit, I said I'll be fine. Just let me be!" He growls, while finally looking me in the eyes. I stare, probably frustrating him even more, but I can't control myself, this boy has the most beautiful and unique eyes I have ever seen. A stunning light blue, like what you picture when you think of the ocean. But, thats only in one eye, his right one actually. His left is a light brown, or maybe hazel, but is absolutely beautiful. It was the color I wished mine were, instead of the bland brown they were.
I must've infuriated him even more with my staring, because with that he threw his hoodie oh his head and stormed out the place, practically breaking the door.
I am still looking out the door, as if to will the fellow with multi-colored eyes back. I just couldn't get my mind off of it, there was an image permanently burned into my brain, but trust me I wasn't complaining.
"oh my god. Oh. My. God." Travis chokes out between laughs, and tears. Hes seriously crying. Whatta dweeb.
"i cant believe, you did that. Actually yes I can, you buttwipe, but I'm glad you did. He never got the chance to eat his pepper, bacon, and spit omelet so something had to happen!"
He looks over questioningly at me when I dont respond immediately.
"whats wrong? You're not upset about this are you? He deserved it. Cheer up, Ady."
"what? Oh, no im not upset. It was just weird." I reply, waking up from my trance.
"yeah, he was weird. And the whole keeping his hood up thing was creepy, I thought he was gonna rob the place. Good thing I've been taking karate lessons." He states, puffing out his chest.
"you liar, dropping your brother off at lessons while you go shamelessly hit on girls at the yogurt store next door doesn't count!" I scream playfully, laughing.
"you say tomato, I say fishsticks." He shrugs. I shake my head. Why do I call him my friend. "no but seriously, what was up with the hood? Really bad dandruff? A hairy mole? Underbite? Steve Buscemi eyes?"
"actually, I know. It was something with his eyes, but nowhere near Steve Buscemi eyes. He had one blue and one brown." I dont mention the fact that they are absolutely gorgeous.
"OHHH! Even worse!" He yells.
"why do you think that?"
"i don't know, I just think its creepy. And imagine what itd be like, if you were to kiss him, and were gazing into his eyes, only to find out theyre two different colors." He acts out every part as he says it.
Believe me, I've imagined it. And it'd be remarkable.
But I,of course, don't tell Travis this, and with a shrug of my shoulders I walk to prepare the counter for the lunch rush.
