Beginning of Fall

My legs took me to my group of friends as they chattered away. Their peals of laughter as they called my name made me laugh as well, one of girl's hand wrapped around my neck as they engulfed me in a warm embrace. The cold autumn never felt this warm, everyone covered in warm clothing, muffler wrapped around their necks, hand in pockets, some wearing beanies and some earmuffs we walked stepping on the dried-up leaves on the ground.

The peaceful orange hues glazed the sky, I started, "I'm so glad that we can spend our autumn together. Not going to lie, I wouldn't spend this time any other way. Haha, am I sounding too cheesy?" I rub the back of my neck feeling slightly embarrassed as they stare at me. A big smile made it's way on to their faces. Satsuki slapped her hand on my back playfully, "What are you saying! You never say stuff like these, maybe the autumn got to you? But to tell the truth me neither, I love this time with all of us together." Everyone hummed in reply, a warm smile plastered on our faces as we walked through the orange green road.

The black concrete contrasted with the brown-orange leaves that lay on the ground, roadside charcoal coloured fence glistened as the sun peaked its warm rays through the big orange and green trees. We reached our stop, which was at a coffee shop. Us 5 friends came to the place to have a study session, that being said mainly to hang out together. It's silly, how us high-school students would indulge ourselves in such form of childish pleasure enjoying the mundane activities simply being delighted by each others company.

The smell of coffee and sweets wafted up into our nostrils, the warmth of the café engulfed us as we opened the door making the small bell on the door tinkle. We hurriedly took our seats by the window...

Hello! I don't know where I'm going with this story but something keeps me going and I want to write more about this. Fun fact! This whole idea is random and came to me at 6 in the morning. I got on my pc and started writing down the autumn warmth feeling and what I imagine it to be. Hopefully, you'll enjoy it.
