"Ah, so your name is Osamu..." (Y/n) felt a blush creeping up on her cheeks from embarrassment.
"But then who's Atsu—"
"Oh! Hey (L/n)! Right? I see you've met my brother."
Atsumu rests his hand on her shoulder casually as if they were friends.
The girl flinched from the unexpected contact out of nowhere.
"Y-You startled me." She glared daggers at the boy behind her.
But her eyes soften when she realizes who it was.
Then, her eyes widened, apprehending there were two Miya's right in front of her.
"Twins?" (Y/n)'s eyes twinkled. "That's so cool." She smiled.
"Really? I don't see anythin' special over it." Atsumu had his causal grin.
"And uh, sorry for scarin' ya back there." He had his proud idiot smile wiped all over his face.
Before she could reply, Osamu pitched in. "Tsumu, we got practice now."
"T-Tsumu?" (Y/n) whispered to herself, striving not to giggle.
She found it adorable how some siblings acted this way in school.
"Shut up, Samu." He glared, clearly hearing (Y/n).
Atsumu wanted to impress this new girl. But, that ridiculous nickname was making its debut at the wrong time.
"You have practice, right? I'll be on my way then. Goodbye, Miya-San, and um... Miya-San."
She looked over to Osamu with a smile on her face. The one that kept Atsumu busy all day during the last period.
"Call me, Osamu." He shouted as she walked away.
"Will do!"
Atsumu groaned from irritation.
"What?" Osamu looked at him.
He clicked his tongue and proceeded to make his way to the gym. In all honesty, he wanted to tell (Y/n) to call him by his first name rather than Osamu.
They just met. But the same regards to him as well.
The twins entered the gym and promptly started their regular warmups like everyone else.
"Yo, Osamu," Aran whispered, they weren't that far away from Atsumu, who looked pessimistic at the moment, with a scowl on his face.
He turned over. "Hm?"
Aran pointed towards Osamu's brother with a concerned look.
"Oh, no, that's okay, he's probably just hungry or something." He shrugged and continued his warmup.
What was bothering him this time? Surely not the first name incident.
He would make sure to find her and tell her to call him Atsumu as well tomorrow.
As he realized earlier, everyone but this new girl was falling down the rabbit hole that is Miya Atsumu. And in short, he wants her to see him as the intellectual setter that everyone loves.
But that's going to be a mess if they barely see each other. He bets that she doesn't even know what position he plays.
Is it uncanny, though? Normally, he's not too keen on all of his 'fan' girls.
Normally, he's not too keen on anyone else other than his teammates.
So why all of a sudden was this unusual girl making him feel so frustrated?
