Keifer's pov
It's been around 5 years since Mackie, Francis and I decided to put the band on hold. We are currently in university in Canada, we thought it would be great if we get our degrees and finish together so we can officially get the band back.
We're currently in York University, this university excelled in arts as well as our majors. This way we were able to incorporate our singing practice while in school. We have scholarships for singing but we're majoring in other subjects.
We live and attend school together but sadly, have different classes and schedule. On the plus side, we have our singing class together, at least we still have singing.
Francis is focusing on engineering, Mackie is in business for accounting and I am an English major to become a teacher.
It was a surprise to everyone when we announced our break. They seem to think we are working on our own careers and we weren't coming back together but little did they know, we're still very much together.
I am currently 21 years old, Mackie is 20 and Francis is 19. Mackie and I are in the same year but Francis started schooling here a year later than us.
It was hard moving away from our families but this was for the better, we were loosing focus in school and were too attached to our labels as celebrities. We did everything to make our fans happy but we were slowly loosing passion for what we loved most, our music.
I live in a dorm, along Mackie and Francis and some others. We all have different rooms but we're all in the same floor.
I'm currently trying to finish my paper for my class and hand it in early so I don't need to worry about it but everyone has been so loud in the dorm lately, they're going on about a party tonight. I could care less but I really cannot work with the noise.
"KEIFER!" A voice screamed, as my door was slammed open.
I jumped in my seat and and turned to the person who barged in.
"Yes? Mackie?" I asked with a sigh and a hint of annoyance.
"Why are you sitting there?" He asked with high energy
"Homework, Mack." I said turning back to my computer.
"Party, Keif!" Mackie exclaims as he walks towards me, turning my computer off.
I scoffed, and gasped jokingly.
"I didn't save my work Mack!" I shouted,
Fear and panic washed over Mackie's face,
"I'm joking, but I'm not going to the party. I need to finish my paper." I told him sternly but giggled a little bit after seeing his relieved face.
"Keifer.. that paper is due next month, and you're more than halfway done! Please please come with me!" He begged.
"No, ask Francis."
"Francis has a paper due in 2 days and he only started a couple minutes ago.." he Shrugs. "Please Keifer, I don't want to be alone.. have fun a little." He pouted.
I stared at him with my blank face and sighed, "fine. Give me a second, I'll clean up and dress and I'll meet you at your room." I give in.
"Yessss, you're the best! I love you!" He shouts as he leaves my room and shuts the door.
"I love you too.." I whisper as I watched him leave.
Yeah yeah, my love and his love aren't the same. I know that, he doesn't.
And he never will.
I sighed and packed my homework up, I get my towel and drag myself to the washroom.
His I love you, just made me sad. I can stay in the shower forever.
Gosh darn it Mackie.
