Journey With Selene

Chapter 9

First thing in the morning we swam around the beach. Nag-sun bathing din kami pagkatapos. "You know this really is a nice trip." Azalea said while using her Hermes towel as a bed.

Hindi pa gaano mainit dahil maaga pa lang naman, mamaya siguro ay papasok na kami. "Sayang lang at sandali lang kayo." I said.

Kahapon ay nag-water activity kami gaya ng dragon boat. Nang gumabi ay sa gitna kami ng beach tumambay at nanood ng fire show. We stayed outside until 7:30 before entering the house.

"You know dapat gumala tayo." Azalea said while changing her clothes

"San naman tayo pupunta." I asked.

We decided to call Apollo. Nang magtanghali ay nag island hopping kami. Matapos non ay pumunta kami sa malapit na falls.

The breeze was cold and the water is at the perfect shade of blue. Mataas ang falls at may cliff sa gilid. "Let's swim?" Apollo asked.

Tumango ako, the water was very cold, si Maeve at Azalea at nasa malalim na bahagi dahil kumukuha sila ng litrato. "Your friends seems happy."

"Yeah, thank you for this Apollo." I said

Naka-upo lang ako sa bato at siya rin sa tapat ko. He's topless right now and I'm trying my best to look respectably. "I enjoy serving you."

Kumunot ang noo ko. I held his face, I felt instant warmth when I held him. "You're not a servant silly."

He laughed, hinawakan nya ang kamay ko na nasa mukha niya. "I know, masaya lang ako tuwing nakikita kitang nage-enjoy."

My heart melted, Apollo really is a precious soul. "Di ka ba lalangoy?"

"I'll swim if you'll swim okay." He said.

Lumapit siya sa akin at tinignan ako. His eyes are enchanting as it is, he looks so handsome upclose. I felt his hand around my waist, he looked up to me. From my eyes, to my nose and down to my lips. I gulped with his stare, a part of me would want to snap out and a part of me would want to know what would go next.

I felt him closer to me, we've known each other for a month yet I feel like I've been with him for years. With a sudden urge I felt his lips on to mine. His kisses are gentle and soft. I closed my eyes as we deepened the kiss.

This is new to me. I felt his hands snatching my waist to go closer. I closed my eyes, this feels good and I feel safe with his arms like this.

Nang humiwalay siya ay binaon niya ang muka niya sa aking leeg. I glanced at my friends, they are still taking pictures maybe they didnt daw us.

"I'm sorry." He whispered.

"I liked it." I said.

I felt a sudden rush of heat on my cheeks, nakakahiya. I heard him chuckled. Bahagya niyang hinalikan ang balikat ko, "Dapat nagpaalam ako."

I giggled, "Why di mo nagustuhan?"

"I would do it everyday." He said.

"But why?" I asked, sobrang bilis naman.

He smiled, "I like you Selene, your kindness, eagerness to learn, your beauty and everything about you. Noong una ay gusto kong lumayo, I wanna stop myself from serving you and being close to you."

Then his eyes met mine. "But then whenever you smile, your little thank you's made me stay. Gusto ko ako lang ang makakatanggap non."

I ruffled his hair, "You should've told me sooner." I said.

"Baka kasi wala akong pag-asa." Ani niya sa mahinang boses.

"You're rich, isang artista, maganda. Samantalang ako isang waiter at magsasaka, who would want me?"
