Chapter 4: The Note

I had to spend 2 and a half hours cleaning up the apartment. Then I had to make dinner but it was useless anyway because I wasn't even hungry and Maddie still won't eat. I just went to bed. At about 3:00am I heard a very loud scream coming from Maddie's room! "Maddie! Maddie are you ok?!" When I went into her room she was pushed into her bed, screaming. Lights flickered and flashed all through out the apartment. I tried to pick her up and pull her off her bed, but every time I would try to pull her up, someone or something would push me away. " Leave. Her. ALONE!" Right after I said that the lights shut off and Maddie stopped screaming. She got up and held me tight. I went to turn on the light and when I did I found a note written in what looked like blood. It said, " You can't run. You can't hide. If you ever try... You will die."
