The House

He dragged me forward and I stabbed his arm. He didn't even flinch. "You know, I could kill you if I want. Don't make me want to." He said quietly. He brought me out the back door, through the yard, and into the woods. Willing myself not to cry, I obediently followed him, terrified of what he may do to me. Was Ms. Wilson alive when he took out her organs and carved her face? What did she do? What...What will he do to me? I kept asking myself these questions but could find no answers. "You get nosebleeds a lot?" he asked randomly. "Uh...Yes...Why?" I returned. He ignored my question and muttered to himself, "Yeah, I thought so. Damn Slender. She pukes with gore...Why her?" I wanted to ask what this meant but decided it would be better to keep my mouth closed for the time being. Suddenly, he stopped, as if second-guessing himself, then turned. He began to walk faster. We walked until around one o'clock in the morning according to my watch.

We came to a clearing, where a huge mansion stood. "Here we are!" He said at last. He had let go of my arm an hour ago but threatened that if I tried to run, he would get me and kill me. "W-Where are we?" I asked quietly. "Where you will be staying..." he said bluntly. I pleaded for more information, but he ignored me. He opened the door and walked in, grabbing my arm again. He pulled me inside and past a person who's back was turned. He was wearing a blue and grey hoodie with jeans. His hair was messy, short, and brown.  He turned around and twitched, he had goggles atop his head, a mask pulled under his chin, and a gash in his cheek. "Jeff...Who is this?" He asked, voice cracking. "My...toy." He responded. I looked up at him. Toy? What the fuck? Like...Sex? I doubt it...he doesn't seem like that... But then again...

I was not longer afraid of Jeff, only angry. I wanted...no...needed to get back. I can't stay here with him! He pulled me into an untidy room with a bed, desk, closet, and table scattered with images of people and the occasional knife. It was huge. He took me over to the far wall, told me to sit, and then he went to the closet. He took out a long, thin chain and attached it to a loop in the heater. He put the cold ring around my ankle and locked it. There was another door on the left side of the room, within reach. Was it an exit? "That's the bathroom. You have to ask to use it and I'm gonna have to watch you," he said as if reading my mind. I just glared up at him. He left the room and brought in an old mattress. He was carrying it with another young man, maybe 19. His skin was grey and black goo was coming out of his eye sockets. His black hoodie and pants had blood on them, even his brown hair looked messy. What was with all the messy hair? Seriously? Is that really what your thinking about? Messy fucking hair?! You have bigger problems right now. Suddenly, blood began to pour out of my nose and I pressed my sleeve to it, then remembered the tissues in my pocket. I placed it to my nose and looked at the ground. The new boy crouched down until his face was level with mine. "Hand off. Let me see." I slowly removed my hand and the tissue, looking into his eyes...or eye sockets.

He examined my bleeding nose for a moment, then my large scar. "Do you get these a lot?" he asked carefully. "Yeah..." I answered. "Okay... What about fainting, coughing up blood, hearing static?" he asked in that same tone of voice. "Yes but not as often as the nosebleeds" I returned.

Jeff and the other boy looked at one another. They exchanged an odd glance then placed the mattress next to me against the wall, threw some blankets on it, then walked out. What? What the fuck was that?  Jeff came back in an hour later and told me to get in the bathroom, take me clothes off, and get in the shower. He stood in the doorway, watching me. Then he bent down and took the chain off my ankle. I self consciously lifted my hoodie and took off the oversized t-shirt I had underneath. I was suddenly aware I was only wearing my bra and flushed with pure embarrassment. "Do you have any weapons with you?" he asked. I nodded. He opened his hand and I carefully placed the pocket knife in his open palm. He wrapped his fingers around it and placed it in his pocket. I turned around and he placed a hand on my shoulder. "What are these?" he asked as he traced my scars. I jerked back. "Nothing. Just... Can you please turn around?" I turned around to face him. He held his hands up in surrender and turned around. I took off the rest of my clothes and got in the shower, turning the water on.

Obviously, he only had men soap, so I did the best with what I had. It was then, dragging the soap along my scarred body, I realized he just saw my most self-conscious part of me. My grandmother...She thought I was evil. She scraped a bottle across my back, multiple times...because she thought there was a demon living inside me. She thought that the demon killed my parents in the crash.

I let the tears mix with the shower water on my face. I crouched down and let myself be soaked with the warm water. I turned the water off a while later and peeked my head out. There was a towel there for me and a spare change of clothes. I dried off and put on the too-large pants and shirt. They must have been his clothing because they stink of blood, laundry detergent, and man soap.

I walked out and he reattached the chain to my ankle. I lay on the mattress looking up at the ceiling. What the hell have I gotten myself into?
