A planet completely dominated by plant life. Some dangerous some not. On this planet there is almost no life that is not plant based, there are separate "levels" on this planet due to the size of the plant life. In the upper atmosphere it is nothing but leads because you are standing in the tops of giant trees. Once you get through the super canopy there is almost no sunlight, and you run into large bugs trying to collect pollen from giant flowers. Once you get a little lower you get to the surface and that is where the hell begins. There is no sunlight down on the surface, all of the plant life is carnivorous. They fed on the few life forms that don't fly or climb up the trees. Certain evolutions that these plants undertook are similar to carnivorous plants on earth, just much larger. What one crew thought was the beginnings of a small forest but where actually nerve endings that set off a giant venus fly trap, slowly digesting all of the crew, it opened back up three days later. Nothing remained. Another time we thought we had found a cave opening we sent a small troop in, as they walked in they all slipped and fell into some digestive fluids and we heard their screams as the lid closed on a giant pitcher plant. A third and fourth tragedy occurred before we gave up on colonizing Theah. We sent a small battalion of troops out to hunt food and hopefully kill some of the plant life. But before they could kill anything and get food they themselves were killed by a plant completely unique to this planet, they came upon what they thought were just vines from the trees, but as it turns out, they were all but harmless. As soon as a soldier made physical contact with one of these vines, venomous spike shot out of it impaling the soldier and dragging him up at an astonishing speed, we still don't know what is at the top of the vines. After that horrific event the soldiers went elsewhere to look for food, they came across a dew field, which surprised them because we hadn't experienced rain on Theah yet, so they started walking though it, trying to avoid the dew spots. But they were so close together that that was not possible for long. A few dozen soldiers stepped into the dew covered stems and then the plants started to curl over the soldiers, catching a few more in the process. We lost over one hundred troops to the giant sundew. The survivors will never forget the screams of their friends slowly getting muffled by the sundews tendrils and the digestive fluids. After all of these losses we suffered we gave up hope and left the hell hole of Theah behind. To forever be left alone.
