When you arrived at the house you checked the time. 4:35. Is 5min. late bad? You went to go upstairs but that's right when you heard your lovely Dads voice calling your full name. Great.

  "(F/N)(M/N)(L/N)!"

  You walk into the kitchen where you see your Dad sitting in one of the chairs to the kitchen table. 

  "Yea, Dad?"

  "Your late, we got a little worried."

  "I'm sorry, we had some difficulties at the ice-cream shop, but we're here!" You tried to brighten the mood.

".....okay...just make sure next time you call me if you know you might be late, okay?"

  "Okay." You walk upstairs to your room. 

  You plop on the bed and take out your phone. Scrolling through your camera roll, your eyes caught the latest picture you've taken. It showed Dakota, you, and Stanley all smiling on a bench. Your face formed a small smile. I'm glad I've found some friends.

  Your phone started to buzz. Your friend's name popped on the screen.

  "Hey (F/N)!"

  "Hey (Y/N)!"

  "Soooo, do you like your new house?"

  "Yes! It's so beautiful, it already feels like we have been here ever since I was little."

  "That's great!" There was a second of silence. "Have you made friends, or do you think I'm asking to soon." She gave a quick laughter.

  "Haha, no! I actually have made a friend! Which is pretty surprising to me" You both start laughing. You kept a smile on your face, and you could tell she did too.

 You guys talked for an hour, and realized it would be a good time to end the call.

 "Welp, just wantin catch up on ya. I miss ya a lot. Bye, (Y/N)!"

  "Miss you too! Bye (F/N)!" You both hang up.

  You checked the time. 5:40. That's when the delicious food hit your nose. 

  "Dinner!"

   You hop off your bed and run downstairs to see Dakota and Dad sitting at the table playing with paper dinosaurs, while Mom is cooking her homemade soup. Yum! You sit down in one of the chairs.

  "What's got you so smiley?" Your Dad asked with smile on his face too.

  "Oh, I just met a person today and I think we're gonna be good friends. He also said he could show me the rest of his friend group." 

  "Oh that's great!" Your Mom exclaimed.

  "Well, that seems like a great opportunity to make good friends here."

  "Thank you" You smiled once more again.

  "Here's the food!" Your Mom sets down the food in-front of all of us.

  "Thankyou." You all say before you started eating your soup.

  Before you knew it, it's already 7:00.

  "Imma go take a shower, Good night guys."

  "Night sweaty" Your Mom replies. "Good night hunny" You Dad say quickly after.

  You walk upstairs to your room shutting your door behind. You undress and turn on the shower. You looked into your mirror and saw that you still had a small smile on your face. You're happy that today was very successful, and that you were able to even find someone you can be friends with. You quickly re-focused and hoped in the shower.

You got out of the shower and went into your pajamas. After reading your favorite book for about half an hour you went to bed. 

  You whispered, "Stanley's a sweet name...." quietly giggling to yourself. 

  Soon after you fell into a peaceful sleep.
