My Life As A New Zealanderled Part 1

Hi, my name is dash and my lovely owner is Isabella. She is amazing. I live in the awesome town of Russell. It's wonderful up here. The sun is always beaming down on me when I go for walks. The water is amazing. I love to play fetch with Isabella but then the worst happened one day i got lost........

I remember how I got lost. It was all a bit of a blur but I can remember. It was a stormy night and I heard a massive bang outside so I ran out not knowing what was going to happen next. I was taken, thrown into a van like I was a piece of rubbish, I was driven away to an abandoned house and got thrown into the house. The people drove away as fast as they could and I was left all alone. I tried to make a bed just to stay the night. I was dreaming about how Isabella was feeling. I miss her so much and I wish she was here patting me making me feel at peace .After all the dreaming about Isabella I woke up the next day and thought she was there. I had gotten too excited. I stood up and ran, hoping to find a house that would feed me and give me some water. I had been searching for a very long time now but nothing I came upon in this forest so what did I do ? I walked very caushilsy through it. i had a rabbit her name was Ruby run in front of me and follow me around and 2 birds glide over the top of me their names - Dylan and Blake i think they were looking for a friend so i stopped and sat .they stopped and sat next to me i picked up the rabbit with my mouth it scrambled so i let it down i tried to make Ruby feel better But ... She got scared. I wanted friends for my journey so I tried to make them feel safe with me .They then followed me to my next stop to stay the night so I slept on the side of a dirt road. I had no clue where I was. The days passed and the journey got bigger. I also had my new friends with me. I reached a town that looked different to my town. This one was bigger, better. I smelt the wonderful smell of delicious cooking. I followed the trail of delicious smells and ended up in a cafe. I walked in and kept following the smell until one of the workers kicked me back. I fell but one of the other workers was quick to help me up. My friends were waiting outside starving for food and dehydrated and needed water. The worker led me outside where there was water. I was so happy but something was missing! Before I could walk in, the worker was already walking out with food. I was so hungry and happy it was hard to hide my excitement. i munched down of my food and started to walk down to what i thought was the beach but no it wasn't it was a lake i hopped in anyway and had a blast of a time .the water was a bit cold but i didn't mind .my friends waited by the side of the lake because they couldn't swim .we found a place to settle down the night another few weeks had passed and we had ended up in a place called Auckland it was a busy town and we had to time right to cross the street as we may get hit. we ran around the streets and i ran up to a Vet's they gave us water and a delicious feast i was so grateful. I made a shelter for the vets for the next couple of nights. As my journey went on I ended up in a small town that looked familiar. It looked like russell. i was walking through the town when i saw someone that looked like Isabella i barked loud hoping she would remember my bark and she did. she ran across the street to give a big cuddle after she gave me the biggest cuddle and kiss she got a little hesitant because she saw my friends. Ruby climbed up to her and the birds chirped. She got better and let them come home with me. we made our way home and i lived the happy life i had once before
