Prolgue

The life line of my twin brother snapped as his neck was snapped by a wolf twice his size. I whimpered and sprinted to the pack house to find my sister crying in a corner as a wolf walked towards growling I could smell the fear coming from her in big waves even from where I was standing. I lept up from behind him and killed him. I shifted to human form and told her she needed to leave now before it was to late. She looked up at me with fear and sadness evident in her eyes. I wasn't suprised she was only ten. "Why?" she wondered. I didn't want her to know to protect her and Grandma knew so it was fine she could find out when she was older. I shook my head "You will find out later" She started crying again. " Hey, Hey don't cry everything will be fine." She sniffed and stopped crying. Her teddy squished to her chest. I looked out the window it was nearly too late. I looked at her again " Arabella you need to go now and go to Grandma's ok." It wasn't a question she had to go. She nodded with no argument. She grabbed her teddy and book thing got up and ran. I looked at her retreating figure and locked it in as a memory because I may never see her again.
