Part 22: 𝐒𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝗺

"𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐲𝗼𝐮𝐫 𝐞𝐲𝐞𝐬"

Daiyu nelt down to Y/N's slumped over figure and grabbed her hair.

Daiyu's eyes switched from there normal blue to a vibrant green then back.

Y/N's shocked face transformed into one of anger.

"Your not Daiyu..."

Her rough voice croaked out and Daiyu's fake through her across the room.

Y/N looked back over at the horrific seen displayed before her.

Daiyu's dead body laid lifelessly on the ground and a tall, slender, black demon emerged from her.

He had no eyes, a wide mouth and sharp fingers.

Y/an furrowed her eyebrows and held and book closer to her.

"I know who you are"

She said trying not to stutter.

Suddenly, the room changed once more.

No longer was it a black room but it was now replaced with a green forest and the same small house.

Y/N cautiously peeked for the side.

The house was in decent condition, better then when she had seen it previously.

"Xiao..."

Daiyu panted and held her chest.

Her cheeks were flushed and she was sweating.

Daiyu let out a sudden cry of pain as silent tears fell from her closed eyes.

She coughed blood into her sleeve and held her head.

Y/N jumped at the sound of something heavy landing on the ground beside the house.

Xiao.

Y/N ran to hide under the deck as Xiao walked right past her.

After it was safe to come out, Y/N quietly made her way back to the pillar.

Xiao nelt down next to Daiyu's sick form and placed the hypothesis eye into her shaking hands.

He rubbed her head and kissed her cheek.

"I'll get you some water to help it go down"

With that, Xiao walked away to the back of the house leaving just Daiyu and Y/N.

Daiyu's blue eyes opened slowly to look at Y/N.

She was struggling to breathe properly.

Her eyes closed and her hand opened revealing the eye.

"Take it"

Y/N listened and slowly walked up to the girl.

Her eye opened for a split second before she passed out.

Y/N quickly snatched the eye when she heard footsteps coming her way.

"I'm sorry, Daiyu"
