Dream •• Fugo x Narancia ••

8' Blood

Narancia definitely did not have the reaction that Fugo had expected. He expected Narancia to scream, or start crying again, or roll off the bed and start yelling at him, and various other bad things. He didn't even really mean to kiss Narancia, it just kind of felt like a good time. However, Fugo really didn't expect this reaction. Nothing. Narancia just kind of awkwardly sat there, not pulling away but not really even responding either. When Fugo backed away, he had this kind of blank stare. "N-Nara? You ok? I'm really sorry I didn't mean to do that" was what he said in hopes for a reaction. It looked like Narancia was dead inside.

After about another 2 minutes Narancia seemed to refocus into reality. He looked at Fugo, kind of scared. "Uh- Fugo? I'm going to pretend that didn't just happen. I think there's an enemy stand nearby.." Just as Narancia said that, someone knocked on the bedroom door. "Guys, there appears to be a stand user near. Be careful, we have no idea what their ability is." The voice was Bruno's. They quickly ran to the door and opened it, then explained to Bruno how Narancia thought he was already put under control of it. This made Bruno frown, probably because it confirmed that they weren't friendly, or were out of control even. "Fugo, Narancia, you will come with me to question them. I'd prefer that they don't get hurt, but if they seem aggressive don't hesitate to attack". Fugo and Narancia nodded, completely forgetting about the previous mishap. They headed outside, passing a worried looking Trish and Giorno.

At first, nothing seemed wrong. Then, they heard a scream far off in the distance. "So what are the chances that had to do with the stand user?" Asked Narancia. Bruno grimaced and replied "Pretty likely I'd say. Let's go check it out." They then started running towards the direction of the scream.

Once they got closer, they knew exactly where the screaming had come from. There appeared to be a man standing inside a store pointing a gun at the cashier. They were about to turn back since they saw a cop, when Fugo said "Wait! That cop, he isn't moving! He also appears to have the same blank stare Narancia just had." They moved a bit closer to the cop, and noticed a weird cloud to his eyes, as if they were fogged over. "He must have robbed the store and used his stand to incapacitate the cop. We better interfere before someone gets hurt." Narancia started sprinting towards the store, only for Fugo to grab him by the back of the shirt. "OW! Hey, what was that for?!" Narancia exclaimed. "We need to make a plan before we rush in" Bruno responded. Fugo just muttered "sorry" and blushed, letting his shirt go. When Narancia saw Fugo blush, he was confused, but Fugo turned away before he could confirm. "Alright, here's the plan. Fugo, you would be best here not using your stand offensively since there are citizens here. You can distract the robber while I sneak up and disarm him via zippers. Narancia, your job will be to use Lil' Bomber to keep track of his location. Try not to shoot, we don't want to alert him of anyone but Fugo." Bruno told them. With that, they got into position.

Fugo knew that his job would probably be the most dangerous, he just hoped that Bruno would be quick to disarm him. He wasn't exactly sure what he should do, so he just kind of approached the building and yelled "HEY! OVER HERE" while waving his arms. As soon as he did this, he realized the first thing the robber would be would shoot him. 'Why did I do that' he thought. There's no way that Bruno would be fast enough to disarm him. Suddenly, he heard a boyish scream come from the side of the building. 'Was that Narancia? Is he actually in trouble, or just trying to distract the robber?'. Then, he heard "FUGO!" and bolted into out to the side of the building. The robber looked distracted, but also confused. Did he have an accomplice? And if so, why was he confused? Fugo turned the corner, and saw a bleeding Narancia backing away from a man with a rather large knife. Narancia seemed to almost fall asleep every few steps. Why wasn't he using Lil' Bomber? Was this the stand user, trying to incapacitate him again, but being resisted? Maybe that's why he couldn't use Lil' Bomber, he had to use all his strength to stay conscious. Just as Fugo was about to run and tackle the man with the knife, he heard "I'LL SAVE YOU NARANCIA!"

Turning around, he saw Mista with his gun pointed at the man attacking Narancia. The man saw Mista, then smiled. Suddenly, just as Mista shot, Narancia stopped falling asleep. Clouds then covered Mista's eyes, and Fugo yelled "MISTA! STOP SHOOTING!". He heard little "yee haw!'s" from Mistas stand, then the bullet he shot before he became unconscious hit the man in the shoulder. The second bullet fired, after he fell unconscious, when straight for Narancia. Narancia, still trying to refocus, didn't realize the bullet was going for him. Fugo suddenly could only think of one thing to do.

He dove in front of Narancia, the bullet hitting him in the abdomen. Narancia suddenly turned around, staring in shock. He let out a cry, then noticed that the man was recovering from being shot. He used Lil' Bomber to shoot the man full with bullets, causing Mista to be taken out of his unconscious state. He stared in shock at Fugo, while Narancia collapsed next to Fugo. He look up at Mista, tears in his eyes, furious. "MISTA GO GET GIORNO." Mista stuttered in his step, not sure what to do. "THIS IS YOUR FAULT. YOU WEREN'T SUPPOSED TO BE HERE. FUGO WOULD BE FINE IF IT WASN'T FOR YOU. PLEASE, PLEASE GO GET GIORNO." Mista's eyes filled with tears at this, and he ran to the house to get Giorno.

Bruno ran out of the building, running to Narancia, but freezing when he saw the scene. Narancia held his hands over the wound, whispering "Please Fugo.. please". Little did Narancia know, Fugo was barely awake, but could still hear him. "Fugo.. Fugo I love you. Please, don't go!". Fugo smiled, happier than he had been in weeks, and slipped away again.
