Present Day
Five months went by, maybe the most hectic months of my life. I was thinking about the test everyday until it was time. The two weeks passed by and it was time to do the test.
4 Months Ago
We were all around the table in Kairi's kitchen, counting down the clock, waiting for it to hit midnight.
Mattia: Five
Alejandro: Four
Kairi: Three
Elexa: Two
You: One...
Kairi: The bathroom is free, you ready?
You: I guess... Elexa, do you wanna come?
Elexa: Uhh, yeah!
My hands were shaking and my head was banging in tension as I reached for the test that was in my handbag. My legs felt like jelly as I trembled to the toilet with Elexa following behind me. I look behind my shoulder to see Mattia, Ale and Kairi all smiling at me with innocent, excited looks on their faces.
Alejandro: Good luck!
I walked into the bathroom, locking the door behind Elexa and sit on the toilet seat to unbox the test.
Mattia's POV
I was shitting myself. I tapped my fingers on the dark oak table that we were sitting around waiting for the anticipating answer of mine and Trinity's future.
Kairi: Bro, I am so excited and it's not even my baby
Alejandro: This gon be some mixed baby you know? Half Antiguan, quarter Italian and quarter Mexican!
Kairi: I just wanna know, do you want a boy or a girl?
Mattia: Oh a girl for sure
Alejandro: Imagine you had twins-
Kairi: Or triplets!
He blurted out. Maiya opened her door and skipped out of her room, skipping towards the table we were sitting at to get a chair to sit on, trying to butt in on our conversation.
Maiya: I heard something about a triplets...
Kairi: Yeah, Mattia might be a father
Maiya: Omg I haven't even seen your girlfriend yet!
Alejandro: Well she's only in the toilet so you'll see her soon
Maiya: Is she pretty?
Mattia: Ye-
Elexa: YES!
Elexa yelled from the bathroom. We all sat around the table giving blurting out ideas of baby names we could call the baby if Trin was pregnant. I was nervous as fuck, like, reality only just hit me; I might actually be a father.
Trinity: AAAAAAAH!!!
Elexa: YES BITCH!!!
I ran to the door, trying to unlock it to see what all the yelling was about when Trinity came running towards me with a huge smile and open arms, hugging me with her eyes tearing up.
