Chapter 35: HAPPY NEW YEAR!

-Rachel Pov-

Christmas has come and passed. The moms are setting up for New Years currently in the kitchen. I never though I'd be so happy that it was New Years before! I'm used to spending it alone but now I GOT A FAMILY! I put a hand on my stomach and smile.

I've spent the last few days thinking about the future. I talked with the girls the day after Christmas. They told me that I could decide whatever I wanted to. They told me what they hoped for but didn't want to add pressure.

I look at a shirt Santana got me and nod. That's what I'll wear today. I put the shirt on and find some pants to match. Sugar and Brittany are coming over later along with Cherry. The first two said they had something important to announce. We all are pretty sure Cherry still has some brain damage.

OH! Dave Karofsky is coming too! We saw him a few days ago and invited him to the small gathering. Puck almost got allowed but...we were told he went to go see Finn. Carol told us what was said about us. It's for the best we forget about him in my opinion. He'll probably end up in prison before too long. Something just worries me about him. Something hidde.

"RACHEL!" I jump out of my thoughts at Santanas voice "COME ON!"

"I'm coming!" I look at my attire and smile happily "I look good" 

I walk down the stairs and see Santana smile. She wraps me in a hug and I laugh. Lucy walks in confused until Santana moves. Once she reads the shirt and looks at me, I'm in her arms. I chuckle and go to the moms.

"You look happy" I nod to Judy who still hasn't looked at me fully "I'm sorry I can't talk much right now"

"OH MY GOD!" I look at Maribel who has tears in her eyes "Is this your choice?"

I nod and Shelby finally looks before gasping "RACHEL!" She runs and gives me a hug "I'm so happy!"

"Whats all the screaming about?" Judy finally fully looks at me and tears spring to her eyes "Y-your gonna keep it?"

"I am" Mom finally lets go of me "I don't think I could put it up for adoption like Lucy did"

Lucy sighs "It was hard for me" We look at each other and she gives me a small smile "You're making the right choice"

"Thank you" I look at everyone smiling "We are going to have another little one!"

There's a round of cheers and more hugs. I have a good feeling about today. I really hope that stays true to the day.

-Time skip-Lucy pov-

Everyone has slowly trickled in and started conversing. It's honestly been a good night. Dave got the baby a pair of shoes with stars on them. Rachel had some tears that feel as she hugged the giant. I knew we could get him on our side. There's a knock on the door and I'm the only one able to get it.

I walk to the door and open it "No" I look at Noah whos visibly intoxicated "Go away"

"I just wanba seeeeeeeeeeee beth" He starts to take a step in but I put a hand on his chest "Hey! Do nott toooch me!"

"You're drunk and not coming in" He looks at me angrily but I don't back down "Please! Just go!"

"Is he bothering you?" I look back to see Dave has come over "Noah please just go"

"THIS FUCKER CAN SEE HER BUT I CAN'T" Now he's angrily in my face "You slutty bitch!"

"Hey Noah" A fist flys past my head and knocks Noah down "Get the fuck out of her"

Dave pushes Noah away from the door and closes it. He gives me a smile before walking away. He's been wanting to do that for awhile based on that punch. It was hard, precise, and fast. I shake my head with a smile and go back to join the family. I roll my eyes playfully as I see Rachel standing with Brittany holding microphones.
