Touya P.O.V.

The past couple days were heaven. Keigo and I have been inseparable. He never leaves my side unless to shower or use the bathroom. I definitely don't mind. I quite enjoy the comforting actions known as his clingyness.

In the League, I never had a connection with anyone. Well not like this at least. Not a loving and compassionate connection, more of a friendly and easygoing connection. Toga and I were kind of close but only as friends. She was probably the only real friend I had there.

But right now, I need to stop sulking and keep my mind in the present. Not the past. This exciting and inspiring future with Keigo.

Keigo.

The one here with me now. The one I've known since I was young. The one who was there to comfort me after the abuse from my father. The one to always cheer my up whenever he had the chance. The one... I love.

"Whatcha thinking about Touya?" Keigo says, interrupting me from my thoughts.

I look down at the overgrown bird laying on my chest. We were cuddling on the couch binge watching the Harry Potter movies. We were on the second one and I was already bored.

"Oh, nothing much. Just about the past." I say nonchalantly, looking back towards the TV.

"Did you wanna talk about it? Get it off your chest maybe?"

I sigh deeply, in thought. Do I really want to throw all my negative thoughts on him right now? He doesn't deserve think about all the sad times of our childhood.

"Just things about the League.....and you....and my past." I mumble the last part.

"Oh..ok. Well don't overthink whatever your pea-sized brain is thinking. You might hurt yourself." Keigo replies sarcastically as he giggles lightly.

I playfully wack him on the head as I let out a small chuckle as well.

The living room fills with silence again. A comfortable one. Sighing contently, I pull Keigo closer to me. Snuggling deeper into each other. Just watching the movie and enjoying each other's company.

5 hours later(it's 7pm and no, they didn't finish the movies😂)

I had gone out quickly to pick up some ramen for dinner. Keigo was complaining halfway through the fifth movie about how hungry he was. Taking the hint, here I am getting the big baby food.

The walk was short, only about 10 minutes. I wore a black mask(*cough* covid *cough*) and my hood was pulled up over my head. I was not trying to go back to jail.

I pick up our food and start making my way back to Keigo's apartment. Walking past an empty, or so I thought, alleyway. I hear a faint 'psst' coming from somewhere deep down the alley. Thinking nothing of it I keep walking. That was, until I heard a louder 'Dabi!' coming from the same place.

Stopping dead in my tracks I turn to look in the alley wondering who the fuck this mystery person was. I wanted to ignore it and get back to Keigo but my curiosity got the better of me. Slowly and cautiously I creep down the alley. Keeping my guard up, ready for anything.
