As the three Shiratorizawa boys reached the school gates they could see Kawanishi and Ohira talking about non-related volleyball things. Tendou greeted them happily, walking towards them with his hand flailing across the air. Semi and Ushijima greeted the both of them, and they replied with a hi and smile back. Semi was curious about what Kawanishi and Ohira was talking about as it seemed intriguing to the both of them.
"Reon, Kawanishi, what were you guys talking about before we interupted?", Semi asked in curiosity. "Oh you guys haven't heard?", Kawanishi asked as a reply. Tendou was intrigued and said, "Ooh ooh, heard what?".
"There is going to be a new student here.", Ohira said answering Semi's previous question. "Hm, we weren't informed that.", Ushijima said, unphased. "Well me and Ohira heard about it from the teachers, they said that they were going to inform it once they arrive.", Kawanishi explained. "So both of you basically eavesdropped the teachers?", Semi said.
"Well it was unintentional, we were walking by but when we heard them we didn't want to interupt 'cause it looked serious.", Ohira said for a reply. "But apparrently they were just talking about a transfer student.", he added. The five of them spoke about things not minding their surroundings until a few minutes later someone broke their bubble.
<Shirabu's P.O.V>
I was walking to school as usual, wondering how my day will be and other kinds of stuff when I stumbled upon my senpais speaking in a group in front of the school gates. They haven't seen me yet but might as well say hi. "Hello everyone.". Everyone turned to look at me. I slightly bowed my head to them as a sign of respect. "Hey Shirabu! Good morning.", Kawanishi replied.
"Why are you guys standing here? Don't you need to go to classes?", I said wondering. "It's...07:40 a.m., don't the third years have to attend class starting from 08:00 a.m.?", I added as I looked down to my watch. "Oh right, we have classes soon! Thanks for reminding us Shirabu!", thanked Ohira san. "No problem Ohira san.", I replied. "Don't you have classes soon Shirabu?", said by the one and only Semi Eita. "Well yeah, but class starts later.", I said calmly. I don't really want to hear Semi's teasing of today so I said goodbye to my upperclassmens and Kawanishi and left the scene.
"Why am I blushing?? I can feel my face heating up, am I sick?", I muttered to myself. I was covering my face excluding my eyes while heading to class, what is this feeling in my stomache? I've never felt this kind of way before, am I really sick? "Ugh, if I keep thinking about this I'll surely get sick. But I can't help it...".
I muttered the last sentence with a very low voice. I was too deep into thought that I didn't notice that people were looking at me, taking quick glances and kept going with their day, there were also others who whispered somethings to their friends. But I saw a first year, Goshiki Tsutomo, he is also in the volleyball team came up to me.
"Hey why are you so red Shirabu san?", he asked. "Are you sick? Do you need to go to the infirmary??", he added getting a little worried. I looked at him, and somehow blushed even more out of embarrassement. "U-uh yeah...I-I'm ok?", I replied, stuttering with my words. "You said in a question not a statement. I don't think you're okay, you might have a fever or something.", Goshiki explained. Before he finished talking he took my hand and said, "Come on!". He dragged me to the infirmary room while I was reluctant to go but I followed anyways.
We reached the infirmary, he let go of my hand and opened the door revealing one of the school nurses, she looked up from her desk and stood up. She had a calming expression and also curiosity. "Hello, what brings you both boys here?", she asked. "Oh I think my senpai is sick, his face is a whole tomato.", replied Goshiki.
Gosh can you not embarrass me more than how I'm already am? I never liked Goshiki, but I still tolerate him, aside his pride he is genuinely a kind person and could be fun to be around with. Just not in this situation..."Oh, I see. Well let me check your temperature up...uhh.", said the nurse, she didn't complete her sentence as she didn't knew my name. "Shirabu, his name is Shirabu.", Goshiki told the nurse. "Shirabu, yes, let's go now.", she said. I went with the nurse, walking right behind her and with Goshiki trailing us.
The nurse checked my temperature, looking at the results and back at me. "Well you have a slight fever, it's not bad but how are you feeling now Shirabu kun?", spoke the nurse. "Do you feel dizzyness? Light-headed?", she added. "Um, no.", I replied. "If you don't then you can go, but if you feel anything please come back, I'll be glad to help.", she reassured me.
"Ok, thanks.", I said. I left the infirmary room with Goshiki still asking me questions of whether I'm really ok or not. "Can you shut up? I already said I'm ok!", I demanded. I couldn't take his annoyance so I had to shut him up. "Wait are we going to be late for class?", asked Goshiki. As I heard him speak, I looked down at my watch, it says that the time was 07:54 a.m.
The both of us aren't late yet, that's what I told the first year. "Ok then, bye Shirabu san, feel better!", said Goshiki as he walked-run through the hall. "Ugh I already said I'm fine", I thought to myself. My face wasn't heated anymore so the blushing has stopped. I couldn't really worry about this anymore, I will need to focus on the class that will start in a couple of minutes, I speeded my walking towards the direction of my class, trying to be atleast a bit early.
