A gift from God can bring miracles that can only come true if you want it enough..each wish is placed on parchment and placed in a bottle, but only one wish a year can be answered with a beautiful song.

"God.." Rin looked up at the sky, tears falling down her face. "Help me.." She gripped the little bottle in her hand. "Please save my little brother!" She said and slowly let go of the bottle as it dropped off the cliff into the water of the sea below her. "I wish..I could see him smile one more time." She said and wiped her eyes. She watched the bottle with her wish float away. She heard the bells of the old church signalling midnight. She stood and turned. "Its time i head back to the hospital, maybe Len will be awake." She hoped so. As she walked back to the hospital, she recalled the events that took place a while ago. The events that sent her poor brother into a coma...

It was a few weeks ago, they were in the city for a simple concert, nothing special. She and Len were suppose to sing together but halfway through the song, Len collapsed on stage. No one knew what was going on. They took Len away and the concert continued but no one was as happy has before. There was a sense of dread in the room. When the concert finished, they all rushed to the hospital. Len was in intensive care and they were not permitted to see him until he was stable. Miku and Luka tried to comfort Rin but she was frozen in fear. Her mind racing, she kept thinking "what if". After a few hours, the doctors let them back to see Len. He was hooked up to so many monitors. Rin had the look away from him, unable to see him without crying. They all stayed until they had to leave. Everyone left except Rin who was allowed to stay with him.

She sighed and looked out the window and began to sing quietly. "Write your wish on a piece of parchment, and place it in a little bottle. If you let it flow with the sea, maybe someday your wish will come true" Tears began to roll down her cheeks again. There was a knock at the door. She looked up and saw two doctors walk into the room and go over to Len. "H-Hey! What are you doing?!" She asked and rushed over as they began to turn the monitors off and unhook his body from them. Rin was held back by one of the doctors. "There is nothing more we can do, Rin. Your brother is-" She was cut off by Rin trying to break away. "No! He is still here! I made a wish! It has to come true!" Rin pleaded as she cried. "Len! Please wake up! Don't leave me alone!" The doctors looked at her sad. "Rin,even if we continue with treatment beyond this point the actual chance of recovery is almost zero." Rin looked up at them. "That's a lie! How can I believe that?! Len has always tried his best! He is going to make it! I know he will!" The doctor then shoved her back so he could continue his work.

A large bust of wind came through the windows, and a song came though as well. A beautiful melody began to play through the sound of the wind. "Winter breathes into our slumber life, the cold wind is the gift of waking. Hurry to great the new year as it turns, The road of your life is still their for the taking There's a person waiting for you, waiting for you to open your eyes. Don't sleep if it will make her sad. She kept that flame alive for you, Your spring will be the season of her making." The wind then dies down and out. A small piece of paper blew into the room, Rin snatched it out of the air. On the front side, was her wish. She looked at it and the turned it over. It gold writing it said. "Your wish has been granted." She paused then looked up at Len.

Len slowly opened his eyes and looked over at the shaking and tear stained face of his sister. "R-Rin?" He asked weakly. She smiled in amazement and hugged him tight and cried. Not a sad cry but a very happy cry..
