chapter 1
"Fukurodani's setter"

.・。.・゜✭・.・✫・゜・。.

"l/n-san! l/n-san!" Kuroo called out my name.

I quick sat up on my bed and looked at Kuroo confusedly.

"Kuroo? What are you doing in my room" I said while yawning

"I came to wake your dumbass up, remember we have a practice match with Fukurōdani today." He said while putting his hands on his hips.

I looked over at the clock which displayed it was 5:30. "If this is the time I need to wake up for single practice match I don't think manager life is for me." I groaned in exhaustion.

"It's too late to switch your mind now plus you should be excited this is your first practice match as a manager!" Kuroo exclaimed

Kuroo is my best friend and Kenma of course, We met back in middle school and have been inseparable since. After days of  Kuroo begging me to become manager of the volleyball team I agreed only because Kuroo said that it looks good on my record for college, even though I'm just a second year I'm already thinking about college.

"I guess I'm kinda excited, now get your rooster head ass out of here so I can get ready." I said while stretching my tense muscles.

I haven't met anybody from Fukurōdani before but supposedly they have a really pretty setter according to every volleyball team manager I've spoken too. They're probably just overreacting but I'll see him for myself.

I got up and did my usual morning routine and put on some sweats with a white crop top and my nekoma zip up hoodie over. I ran downstairs to find Kuroo eating breakfast.

"my house isn't a hotel Tetsuro" I rolled my eyes while getting a plate for myself.

"your mom told me I could eat whenever I want, I'm technically her son by now" he stuffed his mouth.

"anyways are we picking up Kenma?" I asked

Kuroo nodded and we quickly finished eating our breakfast and went to walk over to Kenmas house.

"So does everybody already know everyone at Fukurōdani?" I asked

"Yup Nekoma and Fukurōdani are hella close, I think you'll like them they're nice and for practice matches just take down notes like you've learned and  you know fill up the water bottles."

"easy enough" I said under my breath

Once we reached Kenma's house he was already standing on the porch completely distracted by his psp.

"Kenma-san!" I yelled out

Kenma lifted up his head realizing we were there and walked towards us.

"y/n-san you said you were gonna join my minecraft server last night and you never did." Kenma said softly

"oh sorry Kenma I fell asleep watching my anime...we can play today if you want?"

"yeah ok" he agreed

We finally got to the Nekoma parking lot where we waited for everyone to arrive so we can take the bus to Fukurōdani.
