When Fugo awoke, he was filled with Deja vu. He glanced around the room, seeing nothing. He was laying in a bed, the room dark. He couldn't really remember why he was there, only bits and pieces. Then, someone walked in. They looked into the room, and saw you sitting up. "Fugo! You're up! Are you feeling ok?". The voice was very familiar, and quite comforting. The person walked closer, into the light. "N-Narancia? What happened to me? Why does it hurt so much?". Narancia turned on the light, and looked worried. "A-are you ok? What's wrong!?". After staring at him for a few seconds, Fugo managed to calm down a bit. "S-sorry if I scared you. It just hurts a little, well, a lot, that's it". He looked unconvinced, but still said "Oh, do you want me to ask Bruno for some medication?". This offer made Fugo feel better already. "Yes please!". Deep inside, there was something else bother Fugo, he just couldn't place what. It wasn't necessarily a bad thing, just something he felt he should remember. Then, just as Narancia went to hug him before talking to Bruno, it hit him. When he was barely conscious, he heard Narancia say something. Something along the lines of "Fugo.. I love you"...
Narancia went to go ask Bruno for the painkillers, and Fugo was left in silence. Now that he had plenty to think about, the pain wasn't even so bad. He just kept repeating the foggy scene over and over and over again in his head.. he was so drowsy in the memory is honestly could have been a fever dream, but for some reason he had a feeling it was real. He decided that he would ask Narancia about it when he came back.
After probably about 3 more minutes, Bruno came into the room followed by Narancia, one carrying a little cup with two pills and the other a glass of water. Bruno handed Fugo the pills while Narancia passed the water, and he took them gratefully. "I'm very glad to see you up Fugo. Would you two like some time together?" Bruno said. Fugo and Narancia both nodded yes, then Bruno gave a wink and Narancia blushed hard. They both sat in silence for a bit, just chilling, while Fugo thought of how to bring up his memory. He decided he wouldn't be able to come up with some sort of speech or something so he just went with it. "Hey Narancia, can I ask you something?". Narancia looked curiously into Fugo's eyes and nodded for him to continue. "Well, I was sort of remembering something you said. It was right before I passed out. I don't think I was exactly meant to hear it, but I did". Narancia sat there for a bit, trying to remember what it was but knowing it wasn't something good. Just as Narancia's eyes widened and he opened his mouth to speak, Fugo realized something. "Hey wait a minute, call me crazy, but a few weeks ago I had this dream where I woke up in a bed, in tears, and then someone walked in and said what I think were your exact words, and it made me feel better". "That's.. strange. Anyways, what was that thing you were saying I said". So he's going to pretend he doesn't know? "Well, like I said I was barely conscious, but... I think you asked me to not leave you because you loved me?"
Narancia started at him uncomfortably. You could almost see the nervous sweat on his forehead. A few times he looked like he was about to reply, and then he didn't. He looked at your for a good two or three minutes, before equipping a casual look and saying "Are you feeling ok? I definitely don't remember saying that. I think maybe those pain meds are kicking in a little too hard. And either way, your wounded still and you need to rest, so I'll leave you be for now". And before Fugo could protest or complain or say anything at all, Narancia walked out. That was that.
Sorry this is a bit short it just felt kind of off this time..
