A few days passed since the movie night, with Kaminari and Jirou constantly trying to push the events that had happened that evening out of their heads. That's when the band decided to take a break from their normal schedule of daily meets at the studio, and instead go on a road trip to a beach a few hours away from the city. A vacation to the beach. Along with being a relaxing break, it was a perfect distraction for the two of them.

The trip would last for around 3 days, and they would stay for 2 nights at a hotel. These arrangements were a decided a few days back, giving each of them enough time to pack and plan.

When the day they would leave the city arrived, the band members gathered in front of the studio, each of them bringing their suitcase they'd packed for the trip. Kirishima and Bakugou came in Kirishima's van. Kaminari and Jirou took their normal forms of transportation to the studio. They arrived there before the others.

"Hey Kaminari," Jirou called as she stepped out of her Uber, pulling her dark purple suitcase out from the seat beside her and onto the sidewalk. Its size was between what could be considered small or medium, something enough to hold a few days' worth of her belongings and necessities. She didn't need much anyways. Her purse was looped around her arm, with her phone, a book, and a few other items inside.

Kaminari was standing on the sidewalk a few feet away, looking down at the phone in his hand. At the mention of his name, he looked up, spotting Jirou. "Earphones!" He greeted happily, waving as she walked over to him with her stuff.

Jirou smiled, eyeing his suitcase. It was bright yellow and had a Pikachu on it. Of course, she thought to herself in amusement. Besides that, it was also huge, making her brows crease in a confused frown at the size of it. "Why do you need such a big suitcase for a three-day trip?" She asked.

"Uh, I couldn't decide what to bring," Kaminari said sheepishly, scratching the back of his head, "So I brought some extra stuff, just in case."

"You're such an idiot," She teased, poking his arm.

"A charming idiot," Kaminari replied, winking.

Jirou rolled her eyes playfully. "You wish."

They could spot the van coming down the road. Once it was parked next to the studio, Kirishima came out and opened the trunk, putting Kaminari and Jirou's suitcases inside. Bakugou stayed in the front passenger seat, his usual expression of anger on his face. Everyone was so used the look firmly fixated on his features, to the point it would be shocking if he didn't look angry.

Kaminari and Jirou climbed into the back of the van. Surprisingly, no one said anything until everyone was inside and the doors were closed. That was when Bakugou grumbled, "Took you all long enough."

Kaminari frowned in bewilderment. "But you guys arrived later than me and Ji-"

Bakugou whirled around to look at him, the seatbelt locking with a click at the sudden jerk of movement. He gave him a menacing glare, yelling, "SHUT UP DUNCE FACE!"

"Ok ok, geez," Kaminari muttered in reply, leaning back against the seat and scrolling through his phone.

As Kirishima drove away from the studio, Jirou looked up from a book she busied herself with reading and asked, "How long is the drive to our destination?"

"Around four to five hours," Kirishima replied. "Longer if there's extra traffic."

"Ok," Jirou replied, focusing on her book once again.

Everyone inside the van was quiet, engulfed in doing their own thing, with Bakugou occasionally grumbling under his breath about something. Soon, they were out on the highway, with nothing but scenery and other cars whizzing by. It was going to be a long ride.

"Psst, Jirou," Kaminari whispered, tapping the purple-haired girl on the shoulder.

"Huh?" She mumbled, looking up at him.

"Whatcha reading?" He asked casually, attempting to peek at the words on the pages that the book was opened to.

"Nothing," Jirou snapped, quickly covering the pages with her arms.

"Why won't you tell me?" Kaminari asked, sulking.

Because I have a secret addiction for romance novels, something that I'd rather not tell people about. "Because I said so," She replied simply, closing the book. She made sure to keep the title covered with the palm of her hand, slipping it back into her purse.

"Aw, alright," Kaminari sighed in defeat. An idea popped into his head a moment later. "Hey, wanna play Uno?" He asked, pulling a deck of Uno cards out of his pocket. "It'll be fun! Plus it can help kill time."

Jirou shrugged. "Sure, why not."
