"So, why are you here? I thought you played volleyball." (Y/n) asks, throwing out the last bit of the paint-stained wipes they used to clean up.
Atsumu suddenly realizes, "Oh! I sort of forgot my jacket back in my class. What are yer doing here? You into art or sum?" He asks, a bit intrigued.
He and many other students thought this club was dead ever since Akko Yamazaki was the only one left.
(Y/n) ponders for a bit, "I guess I like drawing." She shrugs with a small smile. "It's the one thing that's actually fun for me, just like how you like playing volleyball, right?"
"You guess, huh?" He responds. "You must be okay at it then," Atsumu smirks.
She pouts. "What do you mean just 'okay'?" Atsumu found this too cute; still, he had his shit-eating grin all over his face.
He was the type to put a label on things the way he believed it until he actually saw it for himself.
(Y/n) was not going to sit there and let her favorite thing to do be labeled as 'okay'. She was also a fighter.
"Guess you're just okay at volleyball if you only like it then." She mumbles, but Atsumu heard it completely.
"You should watch me play sometime then." He winks. (Y/n) rolled her eyes playfully.
"Then you should see my art, Miya-San." She laughed.
"Are you guys conversing or what? You've been talking like a married couple all day! We got work to do."
Akko calls out from the storage room, laughing.
(Y/n) blushed at Yamazaki's words, feeling flustered. "Akko-Senpai, you're mistaken."
As for all she knew, she wasn't into anybody and wasn't planning on falling in love.
Atsumu was disappointed at (Y/n)'s words, but he understood that it was valid of her. They just met.
"Hey (L/n)." He grabs her attention.
"Call me Atsumu." He grins. "Just for the sake of ya calling my brother Osamu too."
"Okay, Atsumu-San." She replies, her sweet voice filling his ears.
He couldn't help but blush a bit, hearing his first name escape her lips. But he brushed off that feeling.
Akko stumbles out of the closet but manages to keep her balance.
"Now, now, Atsumu time to get lost." She laughed. "Ah, I'm just kidding, but your jacket is waiting for you."
"Hm, Yamazaki-Senpai yer in charge of this year's Art Showcase?" Atsumu abandons her request while eyeing a flyer for Inarizaki's school festival.
She nods emphatically. "Yeah! I can't wait to see other student's submissions if we can get any this year." Akko laughs, leaving (Y/n) to feel awful once again.
"Do you guys know each other?" (Y/n) asks, looking at the two of them.
Atsumu grins, "Yamazaki-Senpai is in charge of most activities during the festival, so it's common that most students recognize her."
Her mouth made an o shape. "I'm still new here, so please don't expect me to know out of nowhere." She nervously chuckles.
Feeling a bit out of place, the same from this morning when Himari suspected her to already know who Miya Atsumu was.
"Don't sweat it, kid." Akko ruffles (Y/n)'s hair, making it a bit messy. Atsumu snorted softly; he wouldn't say it to her face, but she looked awfully cute. Out of all the girls he met, he'd probably talk to (Y/n) at least a 2nd time.
"I can hear you laughing. Don't you have a jacket to get?" (Y/n) grumbled, forming a pout and crossing her arms.
He laughed again. "Maybe I should leave my jacket upstairs more often." Atsumu teased (Y/n). Her eyes widen.
"I mean, if you're really engrossed with the art club, Akko-Senpai can get you a form." She mumbled, looking at the setter.
Atsumu cleared his throat, looking back into her e/c orbs. "See ya around, hopefully. (L/n)." He waved bye to Akko as well, leaving the room.
Akko gave (Y/n) a pat on the back startling her, "A new student and already friends with the school's most skilled setter, huh?" She laughs.
She blushed at her comment but shook her head. "Actually, Senpai, I don't know him, well, I guess we know each other's names, but I don't think we're friends." She chuckles.
The 3rd year gasped, "Seriously? I've never seen Miya smile like that towards anyone but a volleyball; you must be lucky. Are you sure you aren't a volleyball?"
"Hopefully not." (Y/n) blushes again, looking back towards the door.
