Ring Ring Ring! The alarm clock went off. My Mom got in the room "Time to get up!" Mom said. "It's the first day of summer!" Well! You should get down the stairs and have breakfast" said Mom.''Okay..." I said, I slumped out of bed and crawled on the floor to the dresser. I got dressed and walked down the stairs. My Mom was waiting for me at the table. She was happy, maybe a little surprised. "Pancakes are on the table!" she said. I looked at her happy and ran for the table, and as she said there was a big stack of pancakes on the table. I ran over and grabbed the spoon and fork and was ready. Then there was a breeze through the window and a storm was coming.''Yes!" I said "This is my favorite kind of day to read books and play video games all day. I gobbled up all my pancakes and ran up the stairs to my room to get my game console on but then it shut off and my Mom was right next to it holding a cord she said "No video games until you clean the basement" "Aww" I said "But I need to get 4 battles in on my game "No means no,now go down stairs and clean the basement'' said Mom. I was really mad but I made a deal with my Mom that if I clean the basement I would be allowed to play video games at night all night for a month,so we made the deal and I now I have to do it. I walked down the stairs and turned the corner and looked down the hallway there it was the basement door I walked down the hallway slowly and made a stop a t the door I opened it slowly and peeked inside,it was pitch black and I couldn't see a thing good thing I had a flashlight with me. I turned it on and made it light up the basement but there was something weird I heard a squeak and a drip then there was a rumble then I saw there were 12 rats running up the stairs and they were all coming at me!
I ran up the stairs running as fast as I could! I got to the top of the stairs and closed the door. I heard all of the rats banging on the door trying to get me! I ran to the kitchen to tell my Mom when I just realised that I was in the wrong room. I looked all around me just junk and books and a bunch of beat up creatures. I walked to the door a little scared I wondered "Where am I, and how did I get here".Then I heard a voice it was an odd nice man's voice he said "Welcome,I am Dr.Scribble and you are in the world of dreams!'' I was terrified. I looked around now. One was there then he started talking again. "In the dream world you can't get hurt even if it looks real or feels real" "What!" I said that means you are not real! "Right indeed" said Dr.Scribble "But I do have a life in the real world but I am never going back because in the dream world anything is possible" Just then a weird vortex appeared and took me in!
Chapter 2
Ah! I woke up in my room my Mom was right next to me she said "You fell asleep after you ate your pancakes" That's odd didn't you shut game console and I went to go clean the basement I said "Huh I never told you to go clean the basement" said my Mom "Oh,must of been a dream" I
said. I turned on my game console and the screen went to my main screen then it started to glitch and a weird person appeared and said you are in a dream, but now you have to go back.
Boom! I was on the basement stairs and I saw the rats down there but they seemed angry I ran up stairs and opened the door,the rats started to pile up on the stairs.I ran through the doorway and shut the door and locked it I heard the rats on the door I looked around,everything seemed normal.But then my Mom walked out of the kitchen and said "Why are you up here,have you already cleaned the basement!?" "S..Or...t of..." I said "Uhhh go ahead take a break no one will clean the basement anyway" said my Mom "Not even your Dad!" "O..kay then can I go play video games now?" I said 'Sure'' said my Mom. I went up the stairs and went to my room.When I opened the door I saw a black world I walked in, everything looked normal but old and weird. I walked around and thought it was another dream but everything seems so real, I got really scared so I walked back to my door I think... I walked out and looked back and my room was back to normal.
