"Chaster, Let's not see each other anymore." Napakagat si Danny sa pang-ibabang labi niya at sinubukang pigilan ang bawat paghikbi. 

[Danny, It's not funny. Tell me, you're not joking. Please, no!]

"I-I gave Lucas a chance again."

[B-but you confessed to me. You said your heart is beating everytime I'm around. You said you like me! Anong pinagsasabi mo? Asan ka at pupuntahan kita? Just tell me, please. . .]

"We left the country and decided to start over again." She sobbed. "체 이스터,이 우정을 끝내자." (Che iseuteo,i ujeong-eul kkeut naeja."

[Bullshit, Danny. Stop joking. You can't convince me with that language!]

"In my next life, I promise I will find my way to you and repay the love you have given me. Chaster De Mesa Flores, Let's end this friendship."

Napatingin si Chaster sa phone niya dahil sa biglaang pagkaputol ng linya. Binato niya yon sa sahig na nababalot ng buhanging malanyebe. Napahawak siya sa ulo niya at napasabunot. "She promised to me! How could she do that?" He hissed.

Agad siyang sumakay sa kotse niya at nagmaneho papuntang Flores Hotel. Umuulan ng niyebe sa labas kaya madulas ang daan. Kinuyom niya ang palad niya at agad pumunta sa opisina ni Lucas. Nakita niya si Astrea na nakaupo sa swivel chair at agad niya itong hinila at sinandal sa pader.

"What's wrong with you?!" Astrea asked.

"It's all your fault. Where's Danny?!" He clenched his jaw and slammed the wall. "Answer my damn question, Where the hell is Danny?!"

Tinulak ni Astrea si Chaster at inayos ang suot niyang blazer. "How could I know? Lucas also left without saying goodbyes. He just left a note that he's going to leave the company."

Pumunta si Chaster sa table ni Lucas at nakita niya ang mga turnover approval letters. Napahawak siya sa necktie niya at tinawagan ang number ni Landon gamit ang company telephone.

"He won't pick up. Give me your phone." Napataas ang kilay ni Astrea pero binigay niya rin ito makalipas ang ilang saglit. After a few rangs, Lucas picked it up.

"What are your plans? Give it to Danny, I want to talk to her."

"She locked herself up."

"You're so selfish! You convinced her again, did you? Lucas, Can you please stop manipulating Danny?! You're such an asshole.'

"I never tell her, it's her choice."

Chaster froze up and couldn't say anything. It feels like his whole world stopped. "I-It's her choice?" He stuttered.

"Yes and she asked me to come home."

"And you think I'll believe that?" Napapikit si Chaster sa inis at bumagsak na lang ang katawan niya sa swivel chair.

"Chaster, Sign the approval letter. I'm giving up the company. You can have it."

"Fuck the company, Nathaniel. And fuck you!" Binaba ni Chaster ang cellphone at agad rin itong kinuha ni Astrea. Lumabas siya ng opisina at doon niya lang nalaman na binlock ni Lucas ang number niya nang subukan niya itong tawagan.

"You're really an asshole." She smirked and groaned.

Despite the cold weather, Chaster left the company and went out with his car. Agad siyang bumaba siya kotse niya nang may nakita siyang bar.
