Treacherous

Training

Time for training.  At 5:00 in the morning we were ordered to go to the Training Center, and well, train.

As soon as I got there I realized just how many tributes I was up against. 71. That's a lot. We were first gathered and  a lady was announcing our "teams" which will be our forced allies. Our mentors chose our teams.

"If you kill a team member, you will be killed. Teams consist of 6 tributes, with the exception of the Careers who have 18 members." The lady said.

"The Careers, as you know, are Platinum, Nylon, Toapz, Diamond, Brilliant, Velvet, Nolan, Mson, Ryder, Alna, Alexi, Lila, Kai, Zale, Hook, Maria, Dory, and Paciific. Got it?"

We all nodded.

"Team #1, will be Dina, Cooper, Grover, Kike, Oli, and Cyrene." She told us. 

"Team #2 will be Telle, Kile, Al, Hash, the other Lila, and Holly. Team #3 will be Maple, Jon, Aran, Issac, Elle, and Cable." She went on.

"Team #4 will be Ava, Percy, Brielle, Milly, Luis, and Martin."

Hmm. Ava's amazing with the ax i'm guessing because she's 7, Percy probably has strong hands, Milly looked very smart, boys from 11 are almost always buff, and Martin looked strong also. I have a pretty good team.

The rest of training went well and the Careers were really impressed with my shooting skills. So impressed, i'm probably the first one on their list to kill.

I hit the target straight in the center every time. I watched my teammates train and they were actually really good. Martin has some pretty great survival skills. 

Milly came up to me later and told me how she thought I was really good with the bow. I told her that she's really good with the knifes. This wasn't a complete lie, she has hit the target, it's just that she not hitting the targets in the right places.

I didn't really have a mentor so all of the District 12 tributes got mentored by another District 11 mentor.

I thought about having to kill people, and to me, that's just impossible. I mean, i'm a nice person, I don't kill.
