It was magnificent. A beautiful carriage, like the one in Cinderella. But instead of being pulled by horses, this was being pulled by six, magical, white unicorns in the sky. Hagrid was using two red rods to signal the unicorns for a graceful landing. Everybody was bustling in the courtyards, Hogwarts was finally not empty. Everybody had arrived... almost.

"They're beautiful aren't they?" Alice said to Ginny who nodded in wonder.
"Imagine how badass we would look riding one of them George!" Fred told his brother.
"How much do you think they would cost?" George asked, Fred shrugged and Alice turned to them.

"You do realise you can't just 'buy' a unicorn?" She asked them rolling her eyes.
"With time Williams, with time." George said, his hands in a steadying gesture. They looked back over to Hagrid and the carriage drawing nearer.
"Clear the runway!" He yelled looking behind him. The unicorns had come so close in fact he had to jump to the ground out of the way as to not get hit.
"Well, there's something you don't see everyday!" Fred exclaimed.

Across the Lake, a huge ship slowly emerged from under the water. It almost looked as if it belonged to a crew of pirates. Floating at lake level, there was a man in a crow nest looking out onto the lake and then up towards the  Hogwarts Castle. He began to rise as more of the ship came into view. Finally the whole thing was floating atop the lake's edge as it  sailed across, towards the barge at the edge of the water. A Durmstrang flag was unravelled and hung majestically, flying in the wind.

                                        ...

"Well now we're all in and sorted, i'd like to make an announcement." Professor Dumbledore's soft voice hushed everyone else's in the Great Hall. Lit candles floated above the tables and brightened up the room, everybody eager to hear what the wise wizard had to say.
"This castle will not only be you're home this year..."

The Hall's doors quietly squeaked open as Filch ran his high-knee run towards the headmaster.
"...but home to some very special guests as well." He said sweetly, Filch still running up to him.
"You see, Hogwarts had been chosen- yes what is it?" Dumbledore turned quickly to Filch, who was wiping his long greasy hair out of his face. He then started mumbling to him about something unknown to the students, Dumbledore cut him short.

"...Tell them to wait, tell them to wait. Wait." He told Filch, who was on on his way jogging back down the great Hall.
"So." He started again. "Hogwarts has been chosen to host a legendary event."
Fred and George exchanged excited glances.
"The Tri-Wizard Tournament!"
Some students started chatting, others looked at each other confused.
"Brilliant." The twins said together.

"Now for those of you who do not know, the Tri-Wizard Tournament brings together three schools, for a series of magical contests. And from each school a single student is selected to compete. Now let me be clear, if chosen you stand alone." The golden trio and Alice raise their eyebrows at this statement. "And trust me when i say... these contests are not for the faint hearted. But more of that later, please join me in welcoming... the lovely ladies of Beauxbatons Academy of Magic. And their headmistress, Madam Maxime!"

Suddenly the doors burst open and a bunch of beautiful girls walked through, all in short baby blue floral dresses and matching hats. They walk forward with confidence, and with soft hand movements they sigh together in unison. They walk forward again, and do the same. One particular girl at the front made eye contact with Ron who almost fainted.

"Bloody hell.." He exclaims watching them as they gallap forward. They stop for just a second and let hundreds of butterflies flutter out from behind them, they then continue to run off to the front.

Through the entrance, their headmistress struts forward, a 10 foot tall woman with a red polka-dot dress and an animal fur scarf. As she walked forward Seamus nudged Ron who was still captivated by the girls.
"Blimey, that's one big woman." Seamus says to him.
